I’d like to think this happened during the week long teleport gordon teleports to lost coast instead of klieners lab and then at the end after speaking to the fisherman he gets teleported to keliners lab with alyx.

@@Darren-lb3rx my explanation is he went through saint orga and found the scout car on a nearby beach at saint orga then he gets back on the road then he goes into a tunnel and then starts the chapter sandtraps

I adore Lost Coast. I've always been fascinated with cut content and demos, having a small slice of what could have been feels magical. You're never going to see the beautiful view, the kindly fisherman, the tense cliffside firefight and the chopper confrontation ever again, and the fleeting nature of it feels beautiful. Plus, it's classic Half Life 2 combat, even if I prefer the combat from the first game more, and the graphics are just fucking stellar, even better than the graphics in the actual game imo.
Yeah I agree. I don't know what it is about Lost Coast, but I like coming back to it for some reason. I wish they made this into it's own story, maybe instead of Freeman make a new character or something. Idk I just wish there was more for Lost Coast
half life 2 is so boring to me. just played lost coast and didnt think it was anything special, just pretty dry and bland. obviously its ok if you like it

@@thisismyusernamesoihopeyou6069 HL:A, Doom 2016 , Doom eternal, Sunset Overdrive, Uncharted 4, Control and RE7(i think it counts) are pretty fun.
HL2 was perfectly timed and paced. That's one of the big reasons it's a GOAT. If they had put Episode 1 into the original game, it would've been too long. Probably why lost coast was eliminated too, because this feels like a side mission for Freeman and doesn't fit into his race to Nova Prospekt.

If you judge these reflections and water details from 2005 with games released 10 years later (2015). There is little to no difference. Technology is moving very slow these days.

Foxtrot Uniform Photorealism is here since the summer of 2017, but there are no photorealistic games out yet. A game takes 3-4 years to be developed. So the first photorealistic games we will see in 2020/2021.

I would also always Gravity Gun the harpoon the fisherman drops. Really makes for a great weapon sticking the combine to walls penetrating through them

It's a great level to show us the graphics and a new charachter that fisherman all that is excellent and stuff .
There's only 2 negative points i have with this level is 1) a way to short campaign it is there to make us the players & fans we are/were drool into something that hasn't been promised for long years which is Half-Life Episode 3 and 2) We couldn't explore more from the map the village , the sea since you get killed pretty fast with those leeches and the other side where there's some sort of reffinery .
Glad it was offered free into the orange box . But to me this level left a bitter taste into my mouth "i wanted damn more" as experience .
Anyway the water graphics hasn't be made better in todays modern video games and thats a fact .
am i obliged to download this version to play the other external mods ?

I happen to know about the claim you put in on this video (the comments on the stream a few days ago and so on) and I really think you could show a little more solidarity for fellow youtubers (also street rules, never hit a guy when he is down).
I've also watched this video and, basically, you haven't got anything you can own copyright on in this video so you haven't actually got a copyright case.
