Arianna, thank you for breaking out John Glascock's bass performance! Songs from the Wood was one of my favorite Tull albums and shows how far advanced they were in Progressive Music at this time. What an amazing performance by John, and by you! You played it so well!
Thank you very much for taking my request for this song a while back. You played it magnificently. My favorite song of all time by any band. I hope one day your band will play this like they did for Minstrel in the Gallery which was unparalleled. You make it look so easy and looks like you enjoy it so much. You are truly gifted. This will be on top of my replay list!
As both a bass player myself and a huge Tull fan, I really, really loved this. Not only was the playing superb, but it looked like you were having a blast. Bravo!
Wow! You did a lovely job with this song! I've been working on this one myself this evening and definitely a learned a thing or too from watching you play this. You really captured the groove well. I love John Glacock's lines.
I'm late to discovering your channel, but thanks! This is one of my favorite Tull songs of what is likely my favorite Tull album, so many thanks again! Nicely done!
Beautiful!!!!!!!!! Just watching this makes me want to go buy a bass, I use to be a bass player for long time, " 7th grade to about age 22, I switched to Guitar. I needed to do that to write songs, and I became a very good lead guitar player and I just can't go back to bass - but I kinda miss it sometimes- I love seeing video's like this one, very very good Arianna, I love the Songs From The Wood Album, as well as every other Tull album, well there was one or three from the 1980's I did not like, but come 1988 they got great again
I have heard this song before, butt never realized that the has parts are this brilliant. Thank you for doing such a brilliant cover so effortlessly. A huge Tull fan here, and I'd look fwd too your other Tull covers.
Bravo! Not my favorite Tull song, but I was really impressed with John's bass playing on that tour. Back row in a 3.000 seat auditorium in Southern California, USA. A great memory, of course. Cheers.
Well. I don't know. I normally Play with fingers, but I am playing "flyingdale Flyer" with a Group of friends and there I like to use the pick, like in the original. 🤷♂️ I don't think using the pick is "less good" than using your fingers. There's Everything for the right ocassion, I think.
you are an amazing performer just like the rock n roll bass masters john glascok, jeffrey hammond-hammond, john entwistle, geezer, chris squire and so many others
That was just great, the accents on the playing were spot on, not many will take on the JT repertoire, but thank you for doing so, I would only ask that your bass would be turned up just a little more in the mix, Thank you

Songs from the wood is why I have ever loved Jethro Tull since the first time heard on vinyl.
This beautiful bass line deserves pretty much energy. You gave it justice in a brilliant way... without a pick. Total respect Arianna.
A masterpiece of a bassline played majesterially :)
Molte grazie Arianna!
I never realized how difficult and amazing was the bass part to Hunting Girl. Thank you for playing it for me :)
The bass lines on Heavy Horses (especially at the violin section) and Acres Wild are also difficult as hell
Frank Gugliotta hey Ian u got a comment on this one I have seen jethro tull over 60 times this young lady can rock
