I don't know when this Jonthan Jackson bring back started. My question is why the power that be brought two new people to the show. Natalia and Gio can go, neither have been on the show long enough to get vested in the characters.

I really hope the writers keep Sasha! I never could wrap my mind around the reason the writers decided to write her character so badly. I was hoping she would be Nina's daughter, the face of Deception, while helping Nina run Crimson! Sofia Matthison (Sasha is a keeper).
They should have brought Michael Easton back as John McNain! Later for all those other characters. That being said, ME is knocking it out of the ballpark with these scenes. Starting with the accidental drink, to crying when he found his father, on up to now. They just didn’t write enough good material for him.
I agree that the writers did the alcoholism backwards. I was so livid when they jumped the gun with him having two days drinking. I was okay with them when they stepped in when Finn hurt himself and was drunk on the floor.
Finn didn't have much of a storyline for awhile, the malpractice thing went nowhere, and the booze thing is unpleasant. I just wonder what it will mean for Violet if they don't recast him after the 90-day rehab exit. Best wishes to Mr. Easton.

Michael Easton is the reason why I started watching GH. The show was never a favorite of mine. So it's going to be easy to stop watching when Michael exits. He's a phenomenal actor ! I wish him all the luck and I will definitely follow him throughout the rest of his career. Michael is GH loss. He deserved better than the awful storylines and lackluster romance that was given to him. Im not going to miss GH I'm done !
I think ME is a fine actor, but I was never interested in the character Finn. I wasn’t interested in his father Gregory or his mother Jackie either. The only time I found Finn interesting was when Hayden was in PC. For whatever reason, the actress was let go, and my interest went with her. I agree with you about Cody and Sasha too. I would not miss either of them. I am going to give Gio more time, and I don’t dislike the character, but I certainly haven’t found a reason to like him or be interested in him that much either. So far, all that has happened is assorted citizens of PC stand around and talk about how wonderful Gio is and how talented Gio is and how smart Gio is, etc. Then they make him an orphan so we will feel sorry for him. There needs to be improvement or Gio can go back to Bensonhurst. `
Would love to see that. As far as I'm concerned Liz, nor Chase or Brooklyn should get her. I've found all three annoying during this storyline of Finn losing his sobriety.

I’ve already stopped watching Y&R and B&B on a regular basis, now I’m about to stop watching GH on a regular basis. I’m already about two weeks behind, it won’t take much to just stop now. They got rid of Gregory, Dr. Finn, Spencer. I wish Sonny would leave and then see how the show would tank. It’ll be what they deserve with the new writers. I don’t want to see Lucky come back, never cared for him. They can get rid of Laura, Blaze, Christina, Ana and a few more. But, Dr. Finn, that’s a cold move.
Another missed opportunity to write a drama filled.storyline for a talented actor. I agree with you John was his best character. The others were just time fillers. I was hopeful for finn because he was quirky, addicted, and had daddy issues. A lot to build on. He was great with Alexis too. I hope when he's back from his vacation he comes back as John. As for characters to go my favorite would our.lady of perpetual self righteousness Carly. I can't watch her anymore. Another would be sonny. I fast-forward most of Cody and Sasha. Sasha isn't doing much, her big storylines have come and gone. Cody has mended his ways to a large degree, but I wouldn't be upset if he left. Valentin, Anna and Brennan can go. Cates looks good but doesn't do much. They can all leave.

I see this comment alot about GH having too many actors but there was a time in the 70s and 80s they had more cast than today but managed to write compelling stories involving each cast member and showing their inter-connections that kept you interested in the characters and relationships. I don't think the number of actors is the problem, it's the lackluster writing and the tendency to focus only on certain characters at the exclusion of others.

I only liked Finn with Hayden. He hasn’t been interesting since she left. I recently read that she is coming back to take Violet. Have you heard that?
