【EngSub】Chongqing Couple Transform 600㎡ Private House: Being Vacant for a Decade Is Worth It

Tang Kui and Yu Ling's home, located in Chongqing's Yubei District, is a 600-square-meter, four-storey house which was once pitch-dark. In 2017, they invited designer Xie Ke to renovate the house, who boldly lifted the ceiling on the first floor, knocked out unnecessary partitions, and changed the direction of the entrance. The house has now taken on an entirely new look, becoming a house showered in light - white walls as the background, wooden furniture in the front, and sunlight in every corner of the house like a painting.
唐奎和余玲的家，位於重慶渝北區，是一棟600㎡、四層樓，曾經黑得“伸手不見五指”的房子。 2017年他們邀請設計師謝柯改造，他大膽掀開一樓天花板、打掉不必要的隔斷、改變進門的方向，使它煥然一新，成了一棟追著光的房子--白牆打底，木質家具“著色”，陽光像畫一樣點綴在家裡每個角落。
