You need to bring back product reviews, the videos are so good at selling the product. I have a Beatstep Pro, Drumbrute Impact, Korg MS-20 Mini, and a Tascam Model 12 (based on your reply to a Patreon comment) all because of the detailed information and excellent demonstrations in your videos. I came across this old video today because I'm looking at a used minibrute right now. Already got the Beatstep Pro so, I'm just going to drop them in some radioactive gloop :)
Don't know how I came across your video, but you sir are very talented and very charismatic. Didn't expect your style, but I ended up liking it. Great job.

Ha! I knew that proper performance would never come. ;-) This one is proper enough though, about 100 events per bar at least. Love how you've got every single wave form all the way up including noise at 4:24 and it still sounds great!
Come up from the basement, luv, the bangers and mash are ready and I need me safety pin back! You know Steve Strange gave that to me on the day . . . well, it's better I don't go into it.
Love your channel, love your style. You know how to keep it entertaining while doing a badass job at demonstrating thr functionality of the instruments, as well as creating badass inspiring tunes... And im sure the illusion of effortless, yet maniacal, sonic celebration is actually just you being yourself to the max, which is definitely the most encouraging and uplifting part about your channel, my dude. Thanks for kicking ass and doing it on camera. Im sure you've made countless people get interested in and actually start making music with analog gear. I know i'm buying this sequencer now to hook it up to my growing collection. Hope to jam one day. Cheers.
Yes there are comprehensive reviews out there but yous is the first one that 1) started with me almost peeing my pants laughing 2) showed me in under 3 minutes what the character of the synth is. 3) Now I need it ..... Spaghetti it is
from what I can see it's the bass drum output from drum machine into inverter IN, inverter OUT to the Att in 2, then use Att2 -> amp knob to control level of ducking of your programmed synth part. I use drumbrute and this synth together but I use the zap of the drum brute because when I patch sounds out of the drumbrute it subtracts them from the mix
To be clear, Minibrute’s pads are both velocity sensitive and also transmit aftertouch. What he demonstrates in the video is aftertouch not velocity. He keeps the pad pressed and changes the amount of pressure he applies which is then translated to a cv that can be patched to anything (the filter cutoff in this example). That’s why you don’t hear the vca retriggering. Had he released and pressed the pad multiple times with different amount of pressure each time we’d be talking about velocity sensitivity being demonstrated.
Great video as usual! Could you tell me please if you can record when the 2S is in step rec mode using an external keyboard to insert pitch/notes? Thanks a lot!
Effects stranger things. Good.
His patchbay is sweaty, knees weak, beats are heavy
There's vomit on his sweater already, Arturia spaghetti
hahahahahhahahaha
Ooft lines cuz

Ah, you must be Pete, from the Street.
That review of your 1st experience with the 2S really showed everyone how great this sequencer is in the hands of a mad genius! ;)
Your description @ a minute in is BRILLIANT!!! XD
You've started my week off perfectly, thank you kind sir!! Awesome vid, thanks! :)
It's nice that your messing about with stuff actually results in great sounding tunes and melodies

Waiting so bad for this sweet thing! Will definitely be a day one buy!
Loved your demo and other videos as well! Keep it up! You put me to go modular!
the way you are just able to create with these things is pretty mind blowing to say the least...
Don't know how I came across your video, but you sir are very talented and very charismatic. Didn't expect your style, but I ended up liking it. Great job.
The best selling Minibrute 2S video IMO :) They must pay you for this! :D
Also Loopop's vids go the most in-depth, if you all want that. Thank you for showing it with modular, Sam! Awesome!
Finally I can hear this thing is massive! So are your jams! wow
Thanks for showing me this lovely beast! Since this vid came out I want it and today it finally arrives ^^
Pretty cool options on this hybrid sequencer. Hopefully they mutate this even more in the Drumbrute2
I feel like all of your videos are in 1.5x speed
play it at 0.5!
That's a good thing, tho

Dropped to 450 now.
Best review !! Plus I can hear what it sounds like!!!
I'll subscribe just based on the channel name alone. Great review, thumbs up!
Super inspiring video. Now I feel like hooking up my MiniBrute - even though it's just the old spaghetti-less model.

Yes! I've been hoping you'll do a video on this! Neeeeed!
Your videos are the best videos! Glad to see a unique review of this synth, i think im sold on getting one now!

wicked thanks for vid wondering can the this Arturia device do drum sounds too and synths sound or just one or the other
Pretty sure you can sync it up with a Drumbrute for that
sure you could also process say a kick or snare with it, but the Drumbrutes more intuitive ;)
Wow! Awesome dude
That being your first run with the unit scares me to think of all the delicious sound possibilities you may come up with. Hat tip!
We need more reviews like this!
Nice demo, thanks man.
Could you do a guide for the beatstep pro? I've had mine a year and feel like a idiot with a cool toy.
Electropunk mastermind! A+
Love.....love will tear us apart.....again. 4:55
good job as always! something different from all the others!

please elaborate on the sidechain kick part. I'm using the 2S with the original Drumbrute. Much appreciated mate.

Exciting!
I would like to see you make a latin beat on one of your synths.
Best review of this ever! 😁
Psycho sick spaghetti, man.👂💥
Cant wait to get my hands on one of these bad boys. Where are the drum sounds coming from?
Pressure sensitive rather than velocity? Good review, thanks.
Paul J. Burns
"Velocity" is the technical term used in the MIDI standard, so no, the pads are not pressure sensitive, they're velocity sensitive.
Thanks without rtfming the manual I wondered - cheers.

LOVE THIS GUY....HE'S VERRRRRRRY ENTERTAINING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Solid man
I have minibrute 2s and drumbrute impact, how to do the play/pause button resume both arturias from the same position?
How much would you miss the "Probabilty", if you'd have no BeatstepPro?
You are like if James Acaster if he was like 5% more unhinged and I love it
I always wondered what happened to Yahoo serious
You got my subscription at 3:27

I'm kinda embarrassed to say I just found this guy, but hey , I'm the only person I know know that likes this shit.
