the serial killer description is so funny cuz 1) most of Vvardenfel's population are dunmer 2) daggers are the most commonly carried weapon in cities and 3) netch leather is the basic light armor and very commonly worn all over. so the description is just the morrowind equivalent of "white guy wearing blue jeans and carrying a smartphone"
The Daedra Heart that doesn't stack just means that you took it from a shrine and it set off a trap to summon a Daedra so it's 'different' from other hearts because of that extra effect so doesn't stack. Rubies and other gems can do the same - interestingly you can use alchemy to combine a normal heart and this special heart for a potion with all 4 effects.
"There's only so much you can resist fire". Dragonbone Cuirass says "hi". also, "ridiculously big mega-hammer" will need a re-name when he gets to the museum.

"I'm actually getting better at Speechcraft here." Yes and no. Something Morrowind never tells you is that a higher "fame" number slightly increases your success at persuation. Since you've done a fair few main and Mages Guild quests, you've probably got a dozen points or more.
Jon, that one chest around 39:50 in the daedric ruin had two exquisite rings. Exquisite rings are the best kind of rings and can hold the best enchantments. Unenchanted ones arent very common, you may want to swing back around and pick them up.
It was cool how you actually had to be skilled to become the leader of a guild back then. In Skyrim, just learn a light spell, or even "bucket magic" and you can be a grandmaster in no time! 😜
Be grateful Jon that you chose House Telvanni. Were you to have chosen House Hllalu, you and "Uncle Crassius " would be spending much more time together. You're still going to have some more dealings with him and his creepiness thanks to the main quest. You may want to return to the daedric shrine (Ashalmawia?) as - with any oddly tall room in Morrowind - there's profitable aerial exploration you could do in the "vault".
Day 7 of asking Jon to please help Cassius Olcinius regain his visibility. I apologize to all members for the lack of commentary this day, i'm far from office. Might fix it later with CHIM Justice (and visibility) for Cassius!
The House of Troubles is another name for the "Bad Daedra" in the Dunmer's religion, and they are Malacath, Molag Bal, Mehrunes Dagon, and Sheogorath. So don't feel bad about killing Malacath's worshippers, it's probably what the Temple wanted you to do when they sent you there. Similarly, the "Good Daedra" (Azura, Mephala, and Boethia) are also known as the 3 Anticipations and are each associated with one of the Tribunal; however, these Daedra are later called the Reclamations after the fall of the Tribunal.
It's not that those guys decided not to report your crime, it's the Telvanni laws - they don't care if someone gets murdered. "Shoulda been good enough to not get killed" kinda philosophy.
From what I remember, the last dedra shrine John was in... it has loads of good loot and secret cashes you an only get by levitating. You can also use an enchanter that you have spent loads of gold on, to sell off high value items then make another high value enchant then just sell them back unwarted enchants.
Obviously, the Telvanni’s best apothecary isn’t in Vivec! You think they’re just going to give the other houses open access to top-tier materials? And no, you’re not making a pilgrimage to serve Malacath et al, you’re showing that you can overcome the evil enemies of Morrowind…who Aria secretly worships.

38:50 man, too bad there aren't any gauntlets that fortify strength while bring better than daedric. But alas, Jon would've certainly missed them anyway in a place like for example the boss room in Ilunibi
The house of troubles is an aspect of Morrowind religion. They are the four daedra the dunmer consider to be the "bad daedra", namely Malacath, Mehrunes Dagon, Molag Bal and Sheogorath. They test the faith of mortals just as the devil does in Abrahamic religions in the real world.
The Dark Brotherhood in Morrowind are very weird in comparison to their other appearances Their set up as a breakaway Morag Tong instead of the Sithis Worshipping murder hobos we know from the other games, and the Night Mother is the name of their leader, not the Unholy Patron Corpse of the Brotherhood’s religious aspects. I’m not sure how they were in Daggerfall, but this was either an attempted retcon that didn’t stick or they decided to retcon them into something completely different for Oblivion and that version stuck. For which Im personally happy. I love the Dark Brotherhood as these complete nutters obsessed with murder instead of tying them to the Morag Tong and Mephala
There’s a fan theory I like where they are actually the mythic dawn masquerading as the dark brotherhood as a cover so they can do their oblivion stuff.
The game does not separate stolen from not stolen items, as a matter of fact that causes some bugs. What it does separate is cursed from not cursed. You picked up the extra heart from a daedra shrine, the curse causes a dremora to spawn behind you when you pick it up.
(8:00) I would be curious what happens if you ARE mistaken for an Ordinator. Is it just going to be a problem? Or might it lead to a quest of some kind?
Once i maxed out my combat skills, i just ignored cliff racers. Instead i would just cast a cheap, 10 second invisibility spell. Which gave plenty of time to break contact.

Morrowind is really just like New Vegas, isn't it? Also, the armor class system is similar. It's like Obsidian saw Bethesda copying their homework and said "I'll copy yours right back!"
