I had 2 safes to move, 850, 790 inside my house. I was given 2 quotes $585 and $525. I decided to watch youtube for options. I was able to rent this dolly for $100 and got both safes inside my house by myself. Easy to use very powerful.
@@Bluerocketoo11 i had to figure out how.to use it. The one i.used was rated to1500..it works with balance. I eventually fully extended it and tilted it back. To get it up the stairs. Once i figured it out thev2nd safe was very easy.
I used one in commercial plumbing for years, it never failed, and easily handle 700 lb plus, boilers and vessels etc, that would squat the 3/4 ton truck. In and out of the truck with cast iron boilers and through a customer's home and up or down the stairs. It changed the world for our small outfit. I'm actually just searching the net trying to find out what the name of it was to get the new outfit I work for to get one. 🖒🖒🖒🖒💪💪💪
I'm about to rent one for a big commercial grade water heater 900 pounds but for my 30 gun gun safe I used a regular hand truck 2 straps and one more guy
I just used one of these to lift a 600 pound commercial refrigerator onto a flatbed trailer, then off again to unload. It was so effortless, I was amazed. Also, the refrigerator is 6 feet wide and 6 feet tall, and it was no problem. Well worth the $150 rental fee.
This guy makes it look really easy. We rented one and the straps around dolly would not stay locked. Then we tried to move gun safes upstairs and it would not work, it kept wanting to shift weight forward when we would try to climb upstairs. Ended up having to call a professional mover to come and move safes up out of basement. Be safe its not worth getting hurt or even killed over especially if the object you are moving is over 700lbs.
I have the ultralift which is very similar. It doesn't have the wheel locks or the rubber bottom edge. The challenge with this design is not slipping of the edge of the step - the wheel lock is definitely a good idea. Loading into /out of van is a great.
This is similar to the Ultra Lift which I would say I prefer. The straps are ratcheting style and I used it for water vending machines loading and unloading onto a truck bed. All aluminum frame as well.
I paid about 4,000 and some change for my stairclimber. It’s a great tool to have but weighs 185 lbs so it’s too heavy for me to use myself . I kept it in my garage and my garage was always flooding. The rain water ruined my wheels and the brake pads. I would like to know where I can get replacement parts and if you can post a video on how to replace them? Please?
I purchased this ruclips.net/user/postUgkxSmDA16smq0C2AlNEjn-rxfI5AxUj6e3a for my standing desk, as I have trouble standing in one spot for extended periods of time. It's a great way to get in a workout while reading emails. I haven't yet mastered the art of composing an email while working out, but I look forward to that. You can definitely get a workout by bouncing up and down (my boss enjoys laughing at me "prancing"), but it's easier in Zoom meetings to use more core control to not bounce up and down so much. I haven't had the courage to do a full-on workout while in a meeting yet, but looking forward to that too!
Some guy said this tool is unsafe to operate???? Why?? What method do you know of that's safer or better?? Are you a professional mover?? Or just someone leaving a clueless negative statement!! Another armchair engineer leaves a negative comment, there's a suprise!!!
Buy one this week, $4460 and it's very heavy. In order to be able to work it, you get more tired of handling the handtruck than by uploading any article by 2. I'm sorry for that spending 100%.
Clever contraption. Though one could rent 4 Mexicans from Home Depot for an hour at $20 per and have the job done faster and cheaper than renting that machine...
This was a big expense for me. I’m a “ one man show.” I regret buying this 100%. So heavy and scary as hell to use. I’ve used it to pull 4 oil fired boilers up bulkhead stairs. I just recently used a customer of mine’s 1980’s something stair climbing dolly that made mine look silly. I’m buying his soon. I will never recommend this product to anyone.
@@reinhart482 probably an escalera. They are way lighter, easier to use, and faster at climbing. Also have a few more attachments. This type of machine does have some advantages like lifting itself in to the back of that van. The escalera has a detachable forklift version if that type of thing is important to you. I rented one similar to this to move my safe and it was a little nerve wracking to use but it got the job done. I greatly prefer escalera because I mostly movie arcade machines.

So it does handle large safes easily?? I just purchased a 64 gun safe that weighs 950 lbs and I have two steps to go up to get into my house.

He’s moving an empty drawer that why it look so easy. When he lower it down the truck and with out any effort can push it away can tell.
Absolutely the best dolly I’ve ever used

I was wondering how good it would be on carpeted stairs.
@JoeCnNd did you try it on carpeted stairs?

Thanks for the video.
How high can this go? For the bed of a UHaul truck over 20" long. I think it's 33 or 34" for the bed.. Thanks in advance Jeremy
Where can someone order one. Do you guys have website or something

how do you use this to lift heavy boxes with such a skinny base
Put a thick piece of plywood on the bottom. Basically, this extends the skinny base.

And if we are loaded with 250kg of weight, with dimensions 1x1x2meters.outdoor Air-conditioning unit , how can we operate the unit ..
Where you get an AC with that dimension that heavy? I don’t think an AC weight more than 100kg and that’s an biggest one 5 tons for residential AC.
this guy just likes pressing the buttons.

😂😂
Escalera is more efficient
i have the escalera, simpler to use but def needs a way to lock wheels as you re going down, thinking of adding bike brakes to the wheels
. . . this tool is unsave to operate and a far cry away from state of the art . . .
These types have been used for over 25 years. Whats the problem?
