Walk Through The Airport Pub Manchester Airport

Walk through the Airport Pub Manchester Airport Manchester UK, the last time I visited this establishment was back in 1993 and although the views were fantastic the pub it's self was nothing like it is today, it has been refurbished to a very high standard and now you can visit to watch the planes, have a drink or something to eat. I was looking forward to visiting and seeing how it had changed and I have to agree with all the posts I have seen that it is great, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the food, we both had the breaded mushrooms to start with which were ok and you got 8 with a dry bit of salad and a very small bit of garlic mayonnaise, my partner had the ribs which had been cooked and the sauce just put on the top, she also had to ask for the forgotten corn on the cob and I had the cock and bull burger which was a burger with southern fried chicken and fries, the burger was so dry and the chicken wasn't much better, we both ended up leaving most of our food, it really was so disappointing and they could do so much better and are really missing out by adding a Sunday roast to the menu for example. While waiting for a table we got 2 x Pepsi Max drinks at £6.40 and the food was £51.80. I loved the views but the prices for the poor quality just isn't worth it, you would be better off standing in the near by field and not paying the car parking either.
You may ask why didn't I say anything, I really couldn't be bothered as every time we have eaten anywhere we have always been asked is everything ok, I am sure they must get that used to hearing no it isn't they don't bother asking you! Maybe I should have realised when I asked for a table and somebody was complaining!
