      @@Gocubs2345 as far as I know, I met the other half of the MS dough boyz at Jackie’s funeral B1 wasn’t there. personally feel like this was the start of Royce’s decline. his nephew (which I wasn’t even aware the relationship until then) is Ugly God. he didn’t move from in front of the casket for about 45 min. shit changed him.
      I knew Jackie was managing him and was on the road like the last 5 years with him and had made some good money. I honestly never was a fan of UG music but when I met him at that last session I had with him - he’s actually a good kid. I hope he pulls outta the slump he’s in

      B1 was released before wallace. This is my homeboy’s music. His real name is Tiger. I remember when the Mississippi DoughBoys project was released back in early 90’s. This style was bitten. My homeboy was looking for distribution and sean combs got this project in his hands and they took the style. Bruh this is unbelievable.

      So biggie saying he didn't want to do the song when Puffy presented to him and Pete Rock saying that he presented that to beat to Puff before track masters and he turned it down were lies by the both of them? Not saying it's impossible but I think this might be coincidence.

    Read an interview where B1 said he believes his song, style and flow were stolen, but after Big died he said he decided to leave it alone out of respect. At least, that was his story.

      Yeah,the thing everyone is forgetting is that Puff,PUFF was a A&R for a LONG ASS TIME for Uptown and others during his music career. He DEFINITELY came across this and passed it to Big. I don't think this was Biggies doing. Puffy being a producer master mind,he definitely put him up to this. It sounds like a reference track,if you are into music and ever heard of that.

      @@raycashmilwaukee Something is telling me that you're right, and I say that because this kinda reminds me of that one interview that Math Hoffa did for Mero recently; he said when he had sent in his earlier ideas and work to Comedy Central, he thought they just decided to pass on him, little did he know was that his material (some of it) was picked up by some Joe-shmo at CC, and then passed it along, or "presented" the ideas to Key & Peele, and from there, it was history. With that being said, and based on what I said, I think Puff was like that one writer or editor for Comedy Central, heard of the man B1, and flipped it in a way where Biggie would feel like what Puff was saying was right for his image, when whole time he got it from B1.

The 90s it was hard to get into other demographics hip hop unless you was in that city or state. Puff been around in the music industry. He definitely heard this and put Big on. And that Math interview with Mero is an example,they will steal the little man's shit and not give credit. But this is a big one and definitely sus.

      you right about that it happens all the time remember that Memphis bleak song round here that he had a video for back in the day well that song actually came from a group from cleveland Ohio the song had potential to be a hit so they manager took them to meet with def jam about signing them def jam loved the song even gave the guys some def jam jackets which I saw cause I would be in the studio with them even though I was super young I paid attention to learn how to make dope music any way def jam kept their song didn't sign them & gave the record to Memphis bleak which became his highest charting record the thing is in the music business you gotta know the business look at face book mark was basically given face book by the wicklvoss twins because they didnt have time to work on it in court they was able to prove that hey this guy owes us some money which they got but had they had their material patented & copywritten they would've owned face book samething with Microsoft Bill gates was giving the software for free by somebody who dint see the value of it so they signed it over to bill gates who went on to sell it make tons of money & sleep good at night so if you come into the music business not knowing the business expect to be taken advantage of just do you due diligence in learning the music business copywrites publishing intellectual property you gotta make sure your name is on what you created or somebody else can put they name on it & receive the money it's like if you find a winning lottery ticket & you sign the back that's now yours thats how the music business can go for somebody coming in blind & gullible to how this business operates
