I highly agree with her. We have to stop this negative idiology which is racism. I'm sick and tired of this called racism that white individuals created.
So how does she explain Asian on Asian racism in Japan, South Korea, China, Thailand? Its not only black and white and racism. Its also COLORISM and Culturalism. Its way more complicated that she is explaining, she is right on some level, but its very basic. This has been going on since the days of Mesopotamia and Egypt and we think we can change it in 10, 20, 50, 100 years? A man once told me "Time is a Flat Circle". And after realizing he was right i knew that the best we could do is try our best in this timeless tale of Good vs Evil.
@MajorLeague "participants can feel frustrated about "their inability to change" and instead begin to feel anger against the very groups to which they are supposed to be more sensitive. It can also lead to anxiety because people become hyper-sensitive about being offensive or being offended." As other studies have shown. In todays society looking through the lense solely of critical race theory pits races against one another. While I think Elliots studies 50yrs ago has a valid place in psychology/sociology.. Robin DiAngelo's does not, it weaponizes Anecdotal Evidence and Critical Logical Fallacies.
@MajorLeague I think the value in her study is to demonstrate what how destructive racism & hate ideologies can be, it should be left there and it was more appropriately experimented with volunteer college students. ruclips.net/video/KcqsJUA3puU/видео.html this is an hour long, but it's an insiders look at a Engineer WhistleBlower took a stance against this policy and was sent on administrative leave and dives into how Anecdotal Critical Race Theory, BLM & White Fragility is entering into our Human Resource Department workplace.. It was immediately stopped at the Federal Level through the Hatch Act, but it's entered into our Private sector with no such protection.
@MajorLeague My brother is a master machinist and his private company have contracts with Military. The HR company in place was outsourched, they proposed to managment this new form of so called Diversity Training a month or so ago. They were canned and his Manufacturer found another HR company.
Mrs. Elliot is talking about Racism, not Colorism- they can be very different things. Racism is American and as such an American Export. It is also the fruition of a particular Bias in the West with a White vs. Black origination as described by Mrs. Elliott.
