Yamamoto is starting to pick up!
I saw the game live...Yamamoto is pretty impressive......he is only going to get better
What I seen of Yamamoto is a sign of a great pitcher. He has great movement command in his pitches and works the stike zone, alot of pitchers has good stuff or just throws hard but don't know how to paint and work the corner's of the strikezone. Yamamoto paints it like an artist.
Maybe....But he doesn’t get swing and miss....the batters do get contact on the pitch which means the ball movement is not significant....The strikeouts he gets is called strike out and rarely get swing and miss for outside splitter(if he can get it down the zone)....He needs to improve his control on mlb hard balls....He was never a movement pitcher his stuff is his supreme control of his pitches....If he can get used to the hard balls he will become his natural self....To be honest i am happy that he doesn’t throw 100 mph pitch because that would make his arm more injury prone...

Never felt so concerned about a player getting hurt as Yamamoto catching that line drive to his face. Thank goodness his reflexes allowed him to catch it!

Very weird highlights. Missed a lot of the hits and showed standard outs
It was more of a defensive and low scoring game so there wasn't much to highlight for hits, really. They usually only highlight hits when they lead to a run.
Yes it was weird. The Nationals had the tying run at first with one out in the 8th. But then it just suddenly switched to the bottom of the 9th. It's frustrating, I would've like to have seen the completion of the top of the 8th.
Excellent game by the Dodgers. I hope to witness their improvements throughout the season.

For one thing, Yamamoto has yet to adjust to MLB. That's why he's pitching like this！！

This game is a perfect example of how clueless Roberts is. Twice, the dodgers had a guy on 3rd with only 1 out and no bunt attempt. His only strategy is swinging for the fences. No fundamentals 🤦♂️

@TWICEQueenz really? How did those 2 plays end up? A well place bunt makes it so that the opposing team has to make a near perfect play. Being able to bunt gives them a weapon to add to the arsenal instead of just swinging really hard. I'll take a team that can win in multiple ways rather than just hitting it hard.
Bunting is not easy to do. They don’t always score on a bunt.

That second inning…. Men on 1st & 3rd with no outs and they can’t score. What is this, October of future past? They need to fix that. And hitting into 4 double plays is not afterwards is not helping.

This is the worst editing ever. 3 doubles we don't see, Freeman hit we don't see. I lost it there may have been more but I stopped looking. Ohh also plenty of time for routine fly's.
I watch every team in the league highlights. When I see teams like The Nats. I see why they're no good. It's situational baseball. You get a double to lead off with no out you can easily steal on a bunt now that's a man on 3rd base with 1 out likely. Hit a sac fly or single now score is 1 & 1 going to the 6th inning
