- I recorded cyborg drone voice lines in-game in the demo and categorized them based on the context in which the lines were stated. I will say that the "Lost the Player" category began while I was paused and actively in combat with a cyborg drone for some reason. I'm not sure exactly how the lines were actually implemented.

The System Shock Remake Demo is currently available for download on Steam and Good Old Games (as of 12-7-21). It is a remake of the 1994 cyberpunk video game System Shock that was developed by Looking Glass Studios.

They should add that voiceline as an easter egg
Creepy to think that SHODAN somehow turned the crew of Citadel Station into these cyborgs and that the process was both horrific and agonizing.
And at the same time, they retained their consciousness, and after the transformation, they sincerely consider SHODAN to be their mother

You should see "The Many" in System Shock 2. The biological mutations in System Shock 1 are nothing compared to "The Many" biological mutations in System Shock 2.
I love the robotic voice. Very creepy. I did think they could release a version of System Shock where you accept Shodans offer to team up and RULE THE UNIVERSE!😅 Get jiggy and make a few namobots together ❤

@pablo gonzalez If you do not switch all recovery stations in the level from cyborg conversion to healing, they respawn
@@tbopetc4390 There are multiple recovery stations per floor ? I always saw one (only done medic, research and a bit of the reactor (wich btw is a good place to use as a refuge :p). Still need to find the anti-rad suit.
@@tbopetc4390 I'm pretty sure respawning is only based on security level. Destroy all the cameras to stop respawns.

@@Nergalsama01 noice, maybe they should do a star trek survival horror game set on an over run starship with Borg trying to override the systems, that eventually leads you to avoiding being assimilated on a cube as you try to make your escape

The first time I heard one of these things... I instantly felt cold shivers down my spine... that 'I hear, I Obey' part gives massive Borg vibes.

I like the occasional pauses in his speech. Like his original identity is trying to reassert itself but failing under the weight of Shodan 's programming.

I remember that in the first versions of the remake the cyborg's corpses eyes would follow you around.is this still true?

I hate these guys. Relative to their level, they deal an absurd amount of damage compared to every other enemy.

These aren't security robots though. They're just random cyborg humans. There are a ton of variety of security robots in the game but these aren't one of them
