Hey, Eva,.... I've missed you!!! Been spending time at the kids place. Thanksgiving, Chrismas, & New Year's Holidays. Then roommate was exposed to Covid,...so I went back to kids for 3 more weeks. Then Texas had a crazy FREEZE STORM. No power or water for 2 weeks. Kids came to get me after 5 days. So back I went!! Just starting to feel normal again at my own house. Nothing is better than HOME!! Missed my RUclips buddies!! THESE TAGS ARE FANTASTIC!!! You never disappoint!!! Your projects are always so unique, and so professional looking. I don't know HOW you think this stuff up??!!! To stencil around the B&W King. Great idea!! Then emboss. Genius!! Love the Pirate embossing Powder,..Black/gold looks wonderful. We do T have anything like that where I live. I haven’t seen a large colorful magazine with glossy pages in 25 years! Also the artwork in that history magazine and the other ones are amazingly styled. Again, we have nothing like that here. Could you tell use how to order that magazine and what the name of it is? I only speak English so I don’t know if I will be able to understand the name but if you could maybe link us the place to order it that would be amazing. I am off to watch another of your videos ! LOVE...LOVE your whole process...how relaxing and fun...and, BEAUTIFUL! I just purchased as many waxed seal supplies as I could using the 40% off coupon at Hobbylobby...before they let this coupon, go. ...So glad I did...great new way to use these supplies. CAN'T WAIT to go shopping at the thrift stores for beautiful pictures books and magazines. 😀👍😀👍😀
I have to say, 1/2 of me is so excited to try to make some of these tags just because they are fun and cool looking and seem like a great way to practice many different techniques in a relatively low-stakes way (vs. trying to create a large mixed media project, for example). The other (more practical) 1/2 of me is wondering about what happens to them after you make them, or if they have any functional purpose? Gifts or scrapbook elements? Just curious what people do with them afterwards. I have seen some videos where people put them into little journals that they gift to people. I would just hate to ever see them thrown into a drawer or something, so I’d love to know all the ways they can be loved and admired often rather than tucked away. I’m hoping that as beautiful as they are and for how much work and love was put into them that they would be treasured forever somehow! I would love to hear others’ ideas, as I’m new to this mixed media tag trend, but I’m loving what I’m seeing so far! And part of what I love is that the small “canvas” of the tag is a less intimidating for new mixed media artists like me :).
