I went to Little Corn Island right before the pandemic hit (February 2020) and there were more tourists but it still felt like you had the beach to yourself. Definitely a few more restaurant options though.
@@TheLifeOfJord when you cross land borders, do they check for covid tests? I was considering flying to Mexico and then Mexico - Nicaragua or something like that, thanks!
much prefer the west coast. I live near san juan del sur, nicaragua. Its too hot and humid in the Caribbean. its nice for a few days. I love the drive from David to Almirante. Almirante is where you park and take the boat to bocas town.
Sort of reminds me of Manono island in Western Samoa. Small, no roads, just a circular path around the island, around 500 inhabitants. On a more general note, did you find Nicaragua "safe"? I've heard conflicting things. Some say it's really chill, others that muggings, etc are common. Just wondering.
Beautiful. Stayed there in 2016 and loved it. Just stayed by the beach reading, snorkeling and eating coconut bread all week. Take me back!
If you go to Corn Island between May and October, is very humid and rainy! The best time to go is November thru February!
travel has also changed my life and i also never want to stop.

I miss travelling. It was awesome in my 20s to be able to see parts of the world before covid. But now I'm fine at home with my wife and infant son.
Lololololol You're not traveling because you are scared of a virus? Do us all a favor and never leave your house again.
@@ericdiekmann2308 bro he has a infant son he’s obviously not going to travel

So good travelling video 🌸
How much was the ferry to get to the corn island. There is never any costs in your videos.
It doesn't cost to much, I guess it's less than 10 dollars

How did you get to Nicaragua? I'm from the US and most carriers stopped flights there. I was planning to go last year and had to cancel, sadly.
we came overland from Costa Rica - and then flew to Corn Islands from Managua

Atracos solo si descuidas tus cosas, no te roban violentamente cuerpo a cuerpo, pero si lo dejas lejos de tu vista es posible te lo roben.
