I've always found female villains more fascinating than male villains. And Rey to me is as exciting as any character in the entire Star Wars series. With the potential of surpassing even Darth Vader. When we look back at female villains. Of course we think of Catwoman(yes Julie Newmar was still the best one) from the Batman series. Or the TX from Terminator 3. or from the Star Wars animations I like Ventress. There is something not only fascinating but alluring about a female villain. And Rey being attractive, could seduce many to be her minions. And with the spirit of the Jedi also flowing through Rey, she could be the most powerful character in the series. And if they don't build on this character arc in the next films. At least the Star Wars animations can create such a scenario.
That path would have made the movie where every star wars fan happy. The sith winning would be genius.

In principle, everything is fine, except for one nuance.
Rey does not have to kill Ben in order to become the new Lord of the Sith. Even in the current (shown in the movie) version of events, among everything that supports the idea that Rey (in fact) became the new Lord of the Sith, there is one very interesting moment -
There is not a single living witness of what actually happened at the meeting between Rey and Sidious, other than Rey herself. She is the only one who survived on that event in sith temple and no one in the galaxy still knows who she really is.
1. She killed her grandfather (the previous Sith Lord)
2. She killed thousands of cultists who came to watch the ceremony
3. The last Skywalker is dead. Leia is dead.
4. Jedi artifacts (lightsabers of Leia and Luke) are buried in the sand where no one will look for them for the next 20-30 years.
5. The only one who has suspicions that "something is wrong with Rey" is Mas Kanata, but ...she only has suspicions.
Perfect cover. And (since she completed the last test of the rule of two) Rey is the new Sith Lord.

Tbh yeah, Rey Practically orgasmed when the dark side went through her at first, Ik thata a very X rated way of putting it, but dude. Look at her when she first Channels the dark side. She loves it, its natural to her.

I LOVE her double-bladed lightsaber, which is actually my favorite lightsaber hilt in the entire world now. I wonder if Empress Palpatine would get turned back to the light and rebuild the Resistance, because, village usually don't stay evil forever. Maybe it will be the TRUE Rise of Skywalker.

Yeah, even if the resistance had won the war and rey paphitine joined the darkside after she killed Ben solo, all hope would be lost.......... there still would be many wars............. and in the end the sith had won.

Rey can't stay on the dark side forever. Maybe Finn is one of the remaining members of the Resistance who is still alive, and would try to turn Rey back to the light side, and help him rebuild the Jedi and the Resistance, like Luke tried to bring Anakin Skywalker back to the light and succeded.
