@@brianrongfirst of, can still be same principle, also, you dont always have full control of the battlefield. For example on shore bombardment to support a naval landing of your troops, and they need that heavy support fire, but you also have enemy naval forces, that need removal, then split your fire. Or you get flanked by an enemy force while engaging the main enemy force, you might have to split your fire. Thats just the reality of combat, and especially naval combat. No plan survives first contact with the enemy, but you still have to plan.
@Lupus_Indomitus enabling landing forces I can understand but then to jeoprodize the battleship of possible grounding? Will the following battle fleet do the same to reinforce the defence of landing troops? Will the enemy warships be co operative in being broadside to battle? To fire their guns over battleship to land on invading assault? Or will enemy attempt admiral Nelson's move and risk ramming or grounding? I appreciate tactics change in an ongoing battle to try gain any advantage but to have turret guns firing to both sides of battleship seem improbable, does it not?

Just imagine being a sailor on that in this moment! They’re surrounded obviously with the port and starboard guns letting loose at the same time. That would have to be an intense moment that’s for sure.
Krásný model. jen mne napadá, zda je reálné že moderní bitevní loď pálí z levoboku i pravoboku najednou. Leda v obklíčení. Mám pocit, že v bitvě pálí kanony většinou přibližně jedním směrem. Co myslíte?
Iowa class battleships are my favorite pieces of engineering..... this is an incredible representation. Wow.... no words
細かいですけど砲撃時は水上機を船内格納庫に収容します。射撃の衝撃が凄まじく一斉射した場合甲板のどこにいても人が死に、艦後方の水上機は粉砕されるからです。
The planes where always launched as a scouting nd then would return to a landing carrier nd placed back onto the battle ship after returning to port
Great job! I only see one mistake, the navy jack is only flown while anchored and / or docked in port. USN Veteran 1977-1981
