Could you do a tutorial on a missile silo door (without exposed slime blocks)? That would be awesome.

So that means 70% of minecraft players are neglected 😄🤣

Just built this in the new update. Wandering Traders keep spawning in it and getting killed by the flying machine so its also an unintentional lead farm.
Hehe lol nice
@@omarrahmankhan8563 hehe, nice.

Still work in 1.16, just recently build it, if anyone still wandering.
Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to know :)
Is it efficient?
@@rugbytimezone5480 it depends on how long or wide it is. In my opinion if you really need sugarcane that fast just build zero tick. I'm just building this because every update they break zero tick sugarcane farm.

Yep, works perfectly fine in 1.17, if anyone is wondering
You may have just saved me a few hours thx
Wow thanks man

@@Canufindnow it doesnt break but id suggest turning it off once your done using it
yo bro does it still work?, and work on aternos server?
Why won't it work for me? I made the thing the same way but when I go to test it the piston doesn't extend to start the machine
The start of this tutorial really shows how far you've come in terms of clarity with these builds.
Still works right before the 1.20 update, if you have issues with the hoppers not working make sure there are no levers beside them for the rails because this blocks them from working for some reason.
Almost gave up on this machine after 3 days of trying to get it to work. Finally I realized at 8:55 in video its actually a slime piston not regular. Besides losing my sanity very happy this is working now!
Same! I replayed it so many times then I saw the green - watching it on my phone screen is tiny. However I still can’t get it to work, so I’ll be replaying repeatedly until I find what else I missed 🤦♀️
@@mrsjayrez2627 Yea I get it, I was seriously frustrated until I finally got it to work. Eventually you'll probably be able to build it by without any help or a maybe better version might be available. Mine breaks from lag on my server so I rebuild it often. Good luck :)

@Deimos Cain yeah it's easy,

I just built this farm in my survival world. It works great, very satisfying to watch the flying machine go back and fourth. Thank you!
What? I wanted this farm since I watched Mumbo building it on Hermitcraft on Java. When you posted the blaze farm with the first flying Mashine for bedrock, I immediately built the sugar can farm. Now I see the notification with a farm that looks suspiciously similiar to my one. Copyright!!!
Just kidding, it is just a coincidence about the similarity. Thanks for the flying Mashine. By the way, your last few vids were just amazing! I would be a noob and go out gathering resources if there wasn’t for you. Thank you so much!
Dude your channel is like the go-to channel for finding bedrock farms. Absolutely the best bedrock content out there.
Always happy to help :D
Does it still work
@@silentwisperer hey man does this build still work
@@misty_8075 yes
Works perfectly after all of these years. Stacked 2 of them in my base, and they work flawlessly. Not anyone near as fast or efficient as the bonemeal powered farms, but perfect for a long term afk base. Definitely a long term investment
thanks for the info! was wondering if it was gonna work if i stacked them, but apparently they do
Do you just leave the flying machine on for afk? Does that stop the growth?
hello! as of the date i comment this, the farm is still working, but with a few changes.
- i made a hopper chain instead of water stream cause the dropper wasnt dispensing for some reason
- i expanded the farm to his suggested size and used 2 flying machines
- i used a different method of connecting the hopper clock to the switch (the redstone block would power a redstone line connected to the switch) and put only 64+30 sugarcane, becoz with 5 stacks the switch would stay on when the flying machine came back and breaks it
before you build this, make sure to test it in a creative world so u can figure out when smthng goes wrong! now... its time for me to find out if this will work fine in realms!
edit:this works handsomely on realms! thanks again silent, this design is timeless
Thanks 👍
Thanks!
I finally made this farm, thankyou for the changes listed because I was having issues with the collection system.
Only thing I did different is put another redstone observer and repeater and line on the other end of the farm so all carts work properly. 😊
@@Knight_Fury_007 are the rates good and how big did u make it
What do you play it on, console? Does it lag?
Great video silent! I'm building this as soon as I've finished my bank vault! Can you see if you can do a chorus flower and fruit farm? I said I would make one on your blaze farm video but I haven't found a good tutorial. I'm sure you (being the amazing RUclipsr and Minecrafter that you are) can build one! ;-)
If you didn’t want to make the rail and item transportation systems you could just have the sugarcane fall into water streams and moved into hoppers.
wouldnt that be smarter then spending a lot of gold/iron on rails?
How?
I just came acroas this channel and I want to say you are a savior to my mcpe journey. I am advanced with redstone but I have not ventured into flying machines yet, but I just want to say thank you for these ideas, farms, and inspirations
My server is sponsored by silentwisperer 😂
Working perfectly on bedrock 1.21 ....just replace the normal piston with a sticky one at 8:55 of the video that's it.
Man I love this farm, it's 1.20 and Still Good
Thank you for saying that, I started making this and realized it wasn’t .20 lol
Geez, so many of these comments are negative. I made the farm easily with this tutorial, even tripling the size with 3 flying machines and it wasn't that hard...
Blake Dorow my second flying machine isn’t working and I’m consfused
Blake sorrow
UPDATE 1.19: Still works! Also if its easier to get honey, that can work in place of the slime blocks hope this helps!
just make a small slime farm hella easy
ok, the dropper clock works but only once you put in the blocks for the water stream, there needs to be a block next to the dropper for it to work.
Thank you bro
wdym a block next to the dropper? im having trouble with the dropper system as the hoppers aernt putting the sugar cane into the transporter
I spent a week looking for one of these for bedrock, I didn't know you've made one.
Thank you silent and keep up the good work❤
Does it work?
Yes
Still works now in 1.20
Thank u
The flying machine you used for the sugarcane farm gave me the best idea for an iron golem farm.

After 6 hours, its finally done. God damn flying piston mechanisms are hard
@@dns_crypt idk and yeah the terracotta is necessary
DNS Crypt It works perfectly. I don’t think the glazed terracotta is necessary, personally I just think it’s a block placeholder, but I have no clue.
@@chancehurstfield4073 I think you need it because it's not a full block, or something like that.
@@dns_crypt yup
The machine pushes the normal piston, which pushes the terracotta, pushing the slime and the sticky piston/observer but then the sticky piston isn't extending.
You Really like flying machines silent 😂 Nice vid ❤️
Yes i do! Didn't know they existed on bedrock until recently, so i gots to use them :D
@@silentwisperer Happy to have you in the bedrock community
Still works in 1.18 The material list is a little off though, so be sure to get a bit extra so you don't need to gather more materials.
Thanks!
What rates does it give? In 1 hr afk (i dnt want rates said in vid, i want rates tested by u)
I got 3 stacks of slime blocks without any spawn proofing the area.
@@TrueDragon586 how it’s a sugar cane farm
First just wanna say thanks this is an awesome farm and works most of the time.
However I’ve been messing around with it on Xbox bedrock edition and every now and again the flying machines will stop working.
This is because the piston that pushes the glazed terracotta block seems to stay extended slightly too long sometimes and will pull back the closest sticky piston out of the machine which stops it moving.
To fix this you have to break the piston that was pulled out, place it back in the machine (where it was pulled back from and in the right direction) and update the observer block at the front of the machine (can be easily updated by right clicking on its face with a flint and steel)
Hope this could help anyone who’s having the same issue.
Are you on bedrock?
silentwisperer Yes.
weird. Its probably just the observers on the flying machines detecting the cane growing as its flying. All you should need to do is update it. As a permanent fix you can move the observers so they face upwards, but this will cause there to be some loss.
silentwisperer That can’t be it as I don’t have any sugarcane planted yet, I’m mid build. :(
The only thing I can think of is just lag keeping the piston activated too long?
Because it happens randomly and I don’t know what else could cause this.
Oh weird.. Are you sure your on bedrock? Do you see your player and skin on the start menu?
He made a working lawnmower
Kek
You are the absolute best.
Great build thanks for making stuff for bedrock players. you’re carrying bedrock on your back. Only thing rates were kinda slow so I just made it bigger and now things are great.
Pro tip for 1.20 minecraft. Rather than placing the leaves a block above the water, you can instead waterlog the leaves, placing them flush with the ground. That way, you don't have losses due to them getting stuck on the leaves
Yes this works in new versions but i suggest making an infinite bone meal farm and use advantage of bone mealing sugarcane which is much more faster
the point of farms is so u don’t have to waste materials like bonemeal
@@malikaegehrke3142 yeah, but this is much faster and cheaper method to get sugarcane. I use this in all my survival world.
Something that works well for me is instead of a button or clock to start the machine I simply replaced the bottom right leaf block (the one over the water) with an observer so when the back rightmost cane grows once the machine starts, less consistency maybe, but I’m sure it’s better than running extra hoppers and stuff and I hear those hopper clocks fail randomly
i just extended the platform and add some bamboo and it works like a charm thank you silent
The first time I built it, you said "normal piston" but saw that you placed a sticky piston, so I assumed you made a mistake. The machine didn't worked. So I changed that piston and everything was functioning. Great video and easy to follow.
which piston do i place?
With a sticky piston my machine breaks down as it grabs the rear sticky piston and moves it
Any tips for a flying machine that doesn't work
Hey, recently i started getting issues with the flying machine. Firstly when loading chunks it would stop mid air. I just reactivate the pistons with a lever or button (to park it). However today the flying machine just disappeared. Did anyone else experience the same? Great design silent! Tnx for all the bedrock tuts!
just built that farm on java and it works well. Thanks!
thanks for explaining how to do the hopper clock btw, great help
Ye I know he hella confused me
Great farm. Still works after a year!
Was able to get this exact build of the flying machine to work on Xbox One beta version without changing it. Thanks for the build!
I am having one small issue, the minecart hopper drops the sugar cane into the first hopper, but then it stays there, will experiment to find a solution.
Solution Found = I had to destroy the two hoppers and replace them while sneaking to connect the first to the dropper, and the second to the first hopper. After that I put the track down again, another minecart with hopper. Everything ran smoothly.
This works still for the most part, but randomly the flying machine “breaks”. It just stops mid flight and I have to go in and use a lever to do the piston to start it up again.
Ain't got enough gas in it
I just made this in my survival realm, thanks for the awesome tutorial, works beyond expectation 👍
Do the flying machine works after first turn? My flying machine works fine when first activated but on the second turn it gets stuck on the very 2nd block
I have yet to see a video from silent where the materials list was correct.
legit im getting so pissed off at how inconvenient this is. Between the materials and the order that he builds things in, doing this in survival is aids.
magically need glass, and it has to be glass
magically adds in clock not shown in tutorial at the end
doesnt show any storage system,
Whenever the flying machine returns and passes the observer, it sends a series of 1 tick pulses to the powered rails so my minecarts don’t leave the powered rail what should I do?
8:55 does he mean a sticky piston because he used the sticky piston and didnt correct himself or did he forget to edit that part and he fixed it up with a normal piston because I am very confused because it doesnt really matter because it glazed terracotta.
I"m pretty sure it is supposed to be a normal piston there. I fought with this as well, and the normal piston resolved it. (The video shows a sticky, but Silent says "normal".
Side note: Silent, keep up the great work. Your farms have been outstanding!
Thank you sooooo much it's working perfectly in 1.17 also thank you soooooooooooooooooo much you are a legend 😘😘🥰🥰
As of August 21 this farm works perfectly on bedrock 1:16 nether update
you are a life saver tysm i will never forget you
Without any problems?
Herobattler _ Yes I did it underground
Could you maybe make a video about 2 way flying machines? It would be nice because then people can take the flying machine that is the best for them and make a farm by themselves and think of farms by themselves. I would really like that!
Also, nice video!
There is a more compact formation for the sugar cane, and it removes the issue of the sugar cane being left on the leaves
how?
I changed the mine carts up to run continuous and reduced the second arm length two blocks, got rid of start side bushes so there’s nothing around where the machine is parked, and had to get rid of the first two rows of sugarcane and now it works and tons of production even missing all that. I’m gonna add back one thing at a time to figure out exactly what was the monkey wrench but it does work on Xbox one. Just be patient and trouble shoot.
is it still working, i try to get it running with the sugarcane layout from shulkercraft
Could you do a flying machine tutorial?

Can somebody tell me if you can substitute the slime for honey?
you can:)
no cap this actually works in 1.17 too lets go
Just built in 1.18.2 works flawlessly.
So many people complaining about slime,
Lucky me.
I live in a stronghold, slimes spawn everywhere!
Slimes don’t always spawn in strongholds. You must just have a slime chunk in it
ZIPPER853 I guess that explains why I am getting a lot of slime. I found some abandoned mineshaft in a big ravine that goes all the way down to diamond level while exploring my world. They spawn at a point where it’s almost annoying when they show up and those pesky slime are occasionally interfering when travelling to my cave spider farm. And for some reason they seem to mostly spawn in the dirt room of the abandoned mineshaft or outside in the ravine
8:40 start of the flying machine construction.
Thanks
Finally a farm that doesn't use a glitch
Still working in 1.18 Just built this, but BEWARE! If any water gets under the farm say, missed a glass block and adding water to the collection dropper system. The farms water canal's flood the entire underside washing away all redstone and rails. You have to swim inside and place blocks to stop it ALL, but are breathable areas underneath.
Smh
