At the end Mike Stone produced ASIA ephonimous album, and the follow up, alpha, recorded in Canada.
The debut album sold about 9 million of copies and unfortunately kalodner pressed to get a similar result for alpha.
The band wanted to.slow down in order to prepare a better product. Wetton left, in accordance of steve howe words, because of a lack of support for john coming from geoff, carl and steve. Kalodner even placed aside a wonderful wetton-howe track originally named "barren land" later knowed as "lying to yourself". And fan base lost the opportunity to enjoy a very talented band, for many time
This lovely group reunited 25 years later, and came to México in 2007 and 2011 (with YES), seeing original members was a fantastic moment in my life. A privilege

I worked at a company that made the tour shirts for Pablo Cruise. Always enjoyed that 1st LP. I still play 'A Place In The Sun' on my local bars jukebox.
