John, the musical connection between his mother Margaret and George Martin is mentioned in Mark Lewisohn's excellent first part of this Beatles trilogy, "Tune In." Highly recommend! 👍

Hello sir , dropping a line to you regarding Steve Harley'death. I am not even sure if you know who he is but i believe with your knowledge,most likely you do. Steve was the singer of "Cockny Rebel,a British band from the 70's who were popular ( Steve) a very highly regarded performer. I know that America really never really knew of him and his big tune " Come up and see me,Make me Smile " . I am an American ,my wife who is British turned me on to him about 10 years ago and i love his music. Check out that song as well as Sebastian.....Live. I just wanted to acknowledge his passing as i am now a big fan,thanks for letting me say these things.
