Yes you will be fine, Even though if it rains , most times it rains for 30 mins then sunshine again. Im sure you will have a great trip.

Which is a better stay for food on a budget , Karon or Patong?

We would choose Karon, Food is similar , long as you choose local food, if you choose western food then you pay western prices , that wouldent matter where you stay. It really depends on what type of holiday you prefer, For us Karon was lovely, Patong was too busy for us and to much party. We prefer Karon but its more our choice. Food is similar at either place. Karon for us all the way. Thanks for feedback.
