At my college we did Conditioning and agility then weights. During summer we would have PRPs ( Player Ran Practices ) then you were there again next day.
Definitely not better because you want to be at your best when your are lifting so you can lift the most weight, if you condition first, you will be tired and it will be a sluggish lift.
yeah this is full on tarded. I think the program was EXTREMELY fortunate to have the sorts of studs who can survive it and still thrive. Some of these dudes in jobs at major universities seem to think they are BUDs trainers trying to get SEALs to quit instead of making the alpha level athletes they have actually better.
@@griimrose go to Texas bruh lol this is one of two workouts down here. Also you went to UMass lol sorry not sorry. Shoulda gone to juco and looked at better schools bruh 😎
How do you think man. Sleep eat. Stress recover adapt there is no secrets only good genetics. I can tell you d1 strength coach sucks and dont know how to program
@yetekt6953 when u say running, do you mean distance or sprints. Hard sprint can impead recover if a guy is trying to peak. Distance running is just stupid once it's over a certain point.
I wasn't an AA, but i did play TE. I remember those days. Legs feel like noodles running gassers or 110s 🥴🥴
That's pretty much what my school did when i was in high school. Minus the lunges

a better idea is to condition first and then lift. that’s what my school does.
It's good to mix it up because whatever you do first will have the most effective result

@@powerswallis2369yea but I rather my legs be fresh for conditioning
Could alternate with intensity of the lifting heavy vs hypertrophy days. Condition first on hypertrophy days would make sense with pre-exhaustion.
@@progamerfil1370 in the 4th quarter your legs won't be fresh
Sounds like what I was doing fr.
You look like George Ezra
Yeah don’t go to his school at all. That’s ridiculous overload of everything. A proper S&C coach will tell you different
You mean sEc😂
He meant strength and conditioning@@FatkOID

Bro just to tackle someone
You probably haven’t seen a bench in your life
Then you actually practice plays
That’s stupid all the reps (quarter reps) was for nothing with all the running. You just set the athletes backwards. Lucky they have great genetics.
u must not have been a sport guy growing up cause u don’t know what u even just said
Running doesn’t affect muscle growth
