Harald is poetry on skis. All other instructors not so much. Weird counter action going on.

Agreed, extreme amount of counter at 2:13 from the inside tip lead. Pulling the inside foot back is one of the main tenets

Very nice. I’m a long time camper for the Colorado camps and would love to join you all in Hintertux someday. Thanks for this.

Great video! I'm attending a camp soon, any advice in preparation?

You should have a great time. I do strongly recommend watching the video that Diana will send in advance, and practicing the positions that she shows, Also it really helps if you have bought their Essentials Videos and watched those. They use terminology that is important to understand, such as "little toe edge", counteracting, counterbalancing, tipping, etc. Good luck!

@@DavidSkok1 Thank you! I have watched the video & have been practicing the movements + I got a local craftsman to make me a slantboard (I'm not handy). I'm a bit worried I will have to demo my current level and completely forget how to ski though! 🤣 The one I am going to is at A-Basin but I'm keen to attend an Austrian camp too in the future (I am in the UK)

@@27johnny You sound very well prepared. The big difference between the Colorado camps and Hintertux is that at Hintertux everyone stays in the same hotel and eats together, so you get to know people well. However what I have done at the Colorado camps to bring some of that atmosphere is to invite others that seem to be fun to have dinner after skiing. Have fun!

What a delightful video - thanks for posting. To ski with the masters of skiing PMTS must be marvellous.

Great video. Haven't been skiing for almost 8 years but back then i really tried hard for PMTS myself using dvds and books. Thought much about visiting a ski camp. Lovely group and impressions. Make me get back to ski again. Big thanks!

Glad to have inspired you. I highly recommend the camps, as even though PMTS seems simple, it is hard to know what you are doing wrong and how to fix it without having a bit of expert help.

How to enroll such a camp in Hintertux? I cannot find a link on the Harald Harb website. Thanks.

Hi, I spoke to the folks at Harb Ski Systems, and they recommend that you use the "Contact Us" menu item on the very top of our web site. They will then get back to you.

Hello I been following HH Pmts and wondering if you could discuss ski types and do you recommend a ski quiver based on slope conditions.

Hi Tom, I am not the expert on this, but I do ask this same question of Harald and Diana regularly. Their recommendation for PMTS is to get a pair of Head SuperShape skis with a very narrow waist. Last year Harald was skiing on these, and highly recommended them to me, so I purchased them:
      www.head.com/en_US/supershape-e-original-313391-set.html
I absolutely love them! For powder snow, they don't like to see a ski much wider than 90.
