All-being-well as I'm now retired, I'll be returning to skiing next season after a 35 year gap, but I'll be 67, so I hope I'm not to old to be a mature beginner, and can pick it up.

I’m going to be 68 this summer and I’m looking forward to my best skiing ever this winter. What’s going to make the biggest difference is the fact that I got rid of two narcissists in my life 👍👍👍

I'm only a little north of 50. Last season was my first year back on skis since 05-06 and it really is just like riding a bike. Once my strength came back I was cruising anything on the mountain all day long and it was a blast.
I do regret those years off, but my wife doesn't really ski and skiing wasn't nearby for that time. I'm finally near a mountain again and this time I'll be sure to keep it that way.

Well since we're talking age, I'm 72. I think skiing all summer waiting for the snow. We're hours or days from the snow, but manage to get to western USA 30+ days each year. Can't wait

Quick question please - if the front boot straps are done really tight - as normally told - there is little or no movement to allow to squish the strawberry - are you promoting the front straps to be looser please

question, it seems you have the top part of you ski boot tilted forward, as you seem to be standing leaning forward on default. did you adjust the shaft of your skiboot forward to achieve this posture? i noticed it can be changed on my own pair with a special wrench that came with the boots.

This is an interesting presentation of the three pressure fundimentals. The only thing I did not understand is what movement is made in order to transfer pressure from the downhill ski to the uphill ski in the transition phase. Is the movement to shift weight when extending (effectively standing on) the uphill lski?

Noooo, sorry, noooo. You lost me on the outside-inside ski thing. Top skiers turn with both skis however. They turn with one foot slightly in front of the other. The plumes of snow behind them are identical. The weight is evenly distributed on both skis.
