This has turned into a war of words between Alan Jackson and Bev. Absolutely ridiculous! Karen’s constitutional rights are in jeopardy 😡
All these cases where serious questions have arisen about the integrity of jury deliberations after trial - Read, Kowalski, Murdaugh - make me wonder what has been going on in jury rooms in less scrutinized cases and before social media.
Has this been going on all along, or is it a true increase in tomfoolery connected to big cases & surrounding hoopla?
Troubling either way.

Jurors should take their responsibility to render just verdicts seriously. Then they would be fearless about the matter. It’s become a process so corrupt that jurors can’t be proud of their service.

The jurors decisions were not supposed to be about their principles nor their moral CONVICTIONS (what a word to choose)!
Their decisions were to be based on the facts in evidence! Judge Bev should have told them that!
If the foreperson had spent as much attention to deliberating as writing notes, maybe they would have come to a decision!
(The note of the foreperson in part was, the “deep division is not due to a lack of effort or diligence but rather a sincere adherence to our individual principles and moral CONVICTIONS.”)

The bit about foreman being a cop involved in an auto accident that ended his career is true. It’s been confirmed by the people on the McAlberts side complaining he was doxxed (which is effectively what confirmed the dox) and by innuendo by Turtleboy because they tried to accuse him of doxxing him which he didn’t. Auden won’t say his name but basically said “yeah that’s him” about the LinkedIn that was posted and removed his picture and name when he referenced it.
TB stated that it was Grant that doxed him, but make it sound like TB did it.

Even the Commonwealth is using just a singular word verdict so which verdict she never asked which verdict they didn’t say all verdicts all charges on each charge just one singular word verdict. It’s her fault. She’s the judge. She screwed up and she knows it, but I believe she did it on purpose.

Personally, in my opinion, I believe those "deeply held convictions" should have been let known during voir dire. If there was some sort of conviction you held that would keep you from deliberating the facts and evidence of this case, why did you go through voir dire without speaking up? Just seems that anything that "deeply held" one would have spoken up sooner, or when asked a question in relation to that conviction, it would have come up and may have resulted in your elimination from the jury. Or was that on purpose...
I find it very odd that the Judge chose the Foreperson, and not the members of the jury.
Is this usual in MA?
Not to mention choosing the foreperson (not knowing he would be okay with the decision) and before choosing the alternates.

It is actually required by the state-level court rules.
My understanding is that a lot of judges ignore the rule and have the jury pick anyway.

I don’t think that corrupt Trooper, who was in charge of the Jury the one who made sure that Pro Karen Jurorgot dismissed and followed her around and who knows what else he was doing reading notebooks probably too knew exactly what the verdicts were and put the word into the judge in the Commonwealth

I mean it’s so obvious there were more than one charge with Lester inclusive. Why would she not ask? What charge are they having an issue with any Judge you would’ve asked that but she knew the verdict before she did the miss trial 100% she knew it so she just played it out like that to make it look like they meant all charges. She is no good.

The US Attorney hasn’t cleared her, they are still investigating (or at least that is the general assumption- neither the US Attorney nor the FBI will say, as is typical).
Regardless, bc of some statements by the US Attorney, & the feds releasing the Touhy documents to the parties it seems very clear that the Feds believe Karen is innocent.
I think the confusion is that the FBI is investigating the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office (one of which we do know they are investigating). That includes the DA and MSP officers and all that fall under that umbrella who are overseeing the investigation into the murder of John O'Keefe and the prosecution of Karen Read. Meaning, they can't clear Karen, but they can go after those who investigated, charged, and prosecuted her. I hope that makes more sense and provides some clarity. Have a great day.
