Thanks for this, Ronnie! I just started palm flips a few weeks ago and needed to get a bit more height, but that was because I was only blocking with my arms. Thansk again. :)
From my understanding, it's not so much a push away, it's like a Kong Gainer but off a wall. When we Kong vault, our arms go back behind us to build momentum and it makes sense to me to block jump, arms back then the arm motion of a Kong pulling yourself through. I suppose it's whatever works best for you. I'm a coach in Parkour so I'm quite flexible with how I allow people to learn as long as they can carry and land the movement safely and get the idea of the technique in the movement, it's to me a question of: Does it matter how one choose to learn as long as they understand the risk involved and do it safely under supervision especially to begin with. Otherwise I don't personally have much issue with how people learn a movement. That's just my personal viewpoint on it and everyone will have a different one. Thank you Ronnie Shalvis for sharing your knowledge in experience with Parkour. Much appreciated and keep up the good work 🙂😎👍
Well there went my left fucking wrist doctor said to take a break after i sprung ankle trying a side flip and i tried this and i fell when my feet hit the wall i tryto catch my self and i twisted my wrist so now i have a wierd brace think well thx
Hey man I need some advice. I used to have palm flips down so easy on concrete and I could chuck them from anywhere but now I've built up this massive fear and it's really frustrating. What's the best way to get rid of the fear so I can palm flip again? Please help!!!
I got this move in 10 minutes after watching Ethan Twistz' video the night before. He mentioned this video, and your drill to practice. I did it and it worked in 10 minutes. Thank you and Ethan. :D I recorded (and uploaded) my progress if anyone wants to see it. :)

I have a question for you. Can you do tricking? Or do you only do parkour?
He does both
The tricking aspect is called "Freerunning"
Jake I meant actual tricking, not freerunning.
Lord ChickenTenders I'm confused, then.
Jake Google is a magnificent friend, you know. :)
