Dang, that sucks. I'm a grown adult (30 counts, right?) with multiple kids, and everyone needs to start somewhere! I didn't know how to do any of this years ago.
I am sorry they couldn't act like adults. My husband was 30 and had never changed a baby bum or knew how.
I was 25 and had never changed a diaper.

People can be so inconsiderate. when I had my babygirl I had no idea what I was doing. (I was 26) I'm now 32 and expecting a boy, and learning all over again! LOL

Aww Congrats! I'm not expecting anytime soon (in the distance future) but I have a nephew on the way due in October and little things like this will help. I'm a curious person and learning things like this os really interesting.

So I’m relying solely on videos from people like you! I do have one question. You show the butt paste in the video but you don’t seem to use it. Is there a reason why you didn’t use it?
Hey Chance! The baby is actually my son. Lol but usually you want to use the butt paste if he has a rash. He didn’t have one so she didn’t use it. I hope this helps! And good luck to y’all!

Or just leaving his genitals intact and not having to worry about an open wound inside a feces and urine filled diaper. A child's genitals should never have to heal.... Circumcision is completely unnecessary, excruciatingly painful, and permanently damaging. Literally no medical organization in the world recommends it. Circumcision removes over 20,000 fine touch nerve endings (the clitoris only has 8,000 in comparison), 15 square inches of tissue, and over 16 functions. The cut male is only left with about 4,000 nerve endings. A baby is more likely to die from circumcision complications (1/10,000) than he is to ever need a circumcision later in life for ACTUAL medical reasons (over 1/16,000). I left my sons intact. Not only is circumcision a painful unecessary procedure, but it's also risky for complications like death and infections and removing to much.
My body my choice. You should never do a cosmetic surgery on someone without concent. And allowing a painfull procedure to a newly born baby is totally against your parent instinct.
Some people believe there is benefits to circumcision, but there is none. Men in general does rarely get UTI because of the long urethra, compared to females that gets UTI all the time.
Also circumcision does NOT prevent STD/STI/HIV. Usa is the only country in the western world that performs circumcision and Usa also have the highest STD/STI and HIV rates of them all.

My 5 week old literally hates diaper changes and he's out of control while we're at it. It takes at least 2 people to get a hold of him and ain't there no way he's letting us wipe that hard 😭

Boy's umbilical fell off in a week and some change, nothing other than air drying.
That's Great! Every cord is different. Some baby when born or thin like a pencil and some are so thick that they need 2 clamps to stop it from ozzing.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. But if you are asking if you can leave a diaper on for 24hrs then no. You should change the diaper when he has a poo or a pee. But if your son has had a circumcision and has not wet his diaper in 24hrs, then that is not good. He either is not eating enough to avoid or is holding the pee in. There are some tricks to make him urinate. But if it's been over 24hrs you need to call his doctor now. I hope this helps.
Sumithra Vigneshraja you should be changing the baby cleverly couple hours .. or sooner depending on how often they are going .. no matter what a diaper should never be left on for 24 hours ..
Who ever is changing the baby’s diaper has no permission to touch the baby’s 🥜. If you touch his privates of course he’s gonna pee on you. Just wipe it, don’t touch, and pointing it down, ISN’T NECESSARY!!
