Orders were all able to be cancelled if scalping didn't seem high demand. My friend wanted a 30th Anniversary one just to scalp and didn't even bother to get a regular one because he knew he couldn't scalp it.

Not saying theyre only ones but it happens more often with their first party games and even third party games get ps5 or switch physical no xbox one. PS4 Pro sold around 14 million units over it's lifetime. Out of 117 total PS4 consoles. So around 12% of PS4's were a Pro. It will be interesting to see where the PS5 Pro ends up. And the PS5 disc drive could be the highest selling optical drive of all time.

I’m friends with a few of the GameStop managers in one of the largest US metro areas and they say the PS5 Pro is selling a steady pace. Not selling out immediately but people are buying the Pro over the disc model with more price conscious people buying used slim. Lots of people trading in their old systems for the Pro. I think Sony is going to have a very good holiday season.
I love the pro. I sold my series X for it. Not having to pick between quality mode and blurry performance modes is a big deal for me. Especially when we got bangers like MGS delta, monsterhunter, GTA6 and ghost of yotei next year

It’s 100% my favorite game of the year. I’m not saying it’s THE game of the year, when you look at what all that encompasses. But for me personally, I had more fun with that game and put more hours into it than anything else. My girlfriend, who doesn’t even play console games, ended up taking my Switch Lite just to be able to play it and got hooked on it, too. It’s definitely my personal game of the year.

Avowed is like an Atari or Commodore release back in the days. Amazing cover art that really makes you want to play the game because your imagination is running wild whenever you see it, while the in-game graphics look pretty generic and kinda meh.

Even major games by third party publishers that launch digital only get a physical release later, like Baldurs Gate 3 and Black Myth Wukong. For me personally Tekken 8 is by far My personal game of the year. It's a Very good game for any fighting game fan regardless if you are new to fighting games or a longtime player. I started playing Tekken 3 and Tekken tag tournament back on arcade as my first experience with the Tekken series.

@@Giliver It's funny seeing people continue to state that while someone like Linus trying to build a better computer for the same price. Despite buying used parts, some nonsense picks for equivalence, omitted some things, and not including the extra shipping costs, it still struggled in the performance comparisons. Credit to him for actually testing games though as most that made claims only had theoretical performance comparisons, and clearly they weren't very good at it. It's not as easy as just to look at theoretical specs when comparing console and PC. Even less so when you look at issues like micro stutter.
And that's of course without pointing out that comparisons often are made without understanding of the obvious fact that many people tend to use consoles and PCs differently for gaming. Hence why many have both.

I personally think no one. If people are willing to buy the Pro now as is, then are already plenty satisfied with Sony. Those who have not bought it yet could be tempted, but only if they are an enthusiast.
