There weren't many on the roads when they were new. For the first few years, you could only get an iron duke, and that, combined with the fires, is what killed it from the start.
Love those Fieros!. Used to drive one in 2007 but some idiot in a 67 Corvette just rear ended me as my Pontiac got totaled. Such a blessing to see those rare horses
Well the guy in the '67 vette was out a lot more money than you, but still it sucks I'm sure. There's just something about these Fieros man, they are special.
Wish I could have got her. Those exhaust tips and the sound of that exhaust is stock? Love this car. Oh wow, this is exactly the one that I want, black and gray, manual etc.
I've had a few 2nd Gen Cavaliers with this family of V6's and fell in love with their sound!

The difference between the Iron Duke 2.5 and the 2.8 V6 is night and day. The V6 still isn't "fast" but it's a helluva of a lot better than the 4 cyl. I think the 2.8 V6 should have been the base engine, and a turbo 4 or 6 cyl should have been the optional engine. Oh well. GM was dumb.
We still have Pontiac fieros but we had a black and yellow fiero it was called the rumble bee I miss it fieros are the old days yep back then and now 2022 sad 2009 fun
I’m going to look at one tonight, it’s a 87 gt model it’s got the moon roof on it.. I heard only 88 had that but they could be wrong about the year. It’s the auto version I think it runs and drives and they only want 1500 for it
Hi first of all, I apologize if I missed something. What are you asking for the FIERO GT? Or at the end of the video. Did I hear you say, have fun bidding? I guess we can start with that. Have a great day. Thank you Eddie.
My buddies Pontiac Fiero actually caught on fire today we were drifting it and it started smoking really bad we continue driving next thing we knew it was actually on fire whole thing burnt to nothing within an hour
Nice, is that all you got from this video?? How about subscribe to my videos and count the times I safely BLOW THROUGH a stop sign? There was absolutely nobody coming, 100% safe.
@@jamesnoble3502 They never lost money on them, but it wasn't bringing in the kind of money that the more mainstream cars could, and Corvette sales were way down since a lot of people were opting for Fieros, rather than spending the extra money for a Corvette. Not saying the Fiero is better than the Corvette, but it was pulling sales from it.
Listening to this guy RAVING about this car has me flashing back to EVERY car dealer looking at MY car saying, "Of this needs work. Not too many people want this type of car anymore!"....... "Ten days later.... this video. "Its so damn amazing!"
This video was produced for Bring a Trailer, which is an auction. At the end of the video I specifically say, "good luck bidding". Car sold a month ago or so. You missed it, it was a STEAL!!!
Quarter windows are not original and therefore shit typical water damage and repair around the interior headlights were always an easy fix replace the neoprene gears with metal on neoprene inserts after 10 minutes of work way bad weathering on all the switches on all the knobs all over, original tires= death even worse than the FIRES THAT FIERO ARE KNOWN FOR!!! NOT ORIGENAL PAINT BTW NOT ORIGENAL WHEELS EITHER!!!!!!
Sorry Eli but you are incorrect. Paint is 100% original as well as the wheels. I am VERY familiar with these cars. And the quarters are also original. And water damage?? To what, the trunk lid?? Those quarter windows don't protect or seal anything, strictly cosmetic.
This is the weirdest rant I've ever seen. These quarter windows look 100% original, the car just has low mileage. There was a rare option where the side mirrors were painted the same color as the rest of the car, rather than simply semi-gloss black. That's why the side-mirrors are painted... that was a factory option. The switches don't look at all weathered, and it was only the 84 Fieros (that had the 2.5 Iron Duke) that caught fire. How strange that you would rant about a low mileage 34 year old car?
Always a blessing to see a Fiero GT
Thanks!
I agree and even better, is the holy grail for Fiero fans, the 1988 Formula. Good luck finding of those though! even the GTs are hard to find now.
Man what a nice Fiero. You don't see these on the roads at all anymore.
I saw a red one like this one on the video except it was red with gold fiero rims
@@inaj27 likely an 88 GT or formula. Not many final models year models produced.

Cool
Awesome Fiero GT example here, love it.
Glad you like it!
Nice car 🚗
Thank you!
Such a beautiful automobile.
Thanks!
The Fiero sure was/is special. ❤
I drove this same model / trim level except in red back in 1990. What a hoot to drive.
Cool cars!
I had one with a turbo in the original V6 engine. Pulled really strong.

2.8L MPFI V6...one of the few Fieros powered by this Chevy V6 engine!
One heck of a sound for a V6

I'm in Florida, but I was curious on the price tag on that fiero cream puff. Looks like 2023!😉
thanks! I believe this did mid 13k range from my recollection
Very nice GT Fiero..Neat car Thanks for posting this video .
Sure!! Wish I had another one!
beautiful fiero
Thanks!
Sweet fiero with a gear box 😎🤙
Yes!
This is absolute fiero perfection to me… I absolutely love this car
I was always a fan too!
Beautiful car 👍 looks like it needs new brakes because it doesn't seem to stop at stop signs...🤣
HAHA! I have been called on that and not wearing my seatbelt!
Thanks you so much love it thanks ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤.

Nice! Lots of fun for $1500
Bet you had a shit load of tire kickers coming around, probably a line out the door, how much did it sell for?
I put it on Bring a Trailer auction site so it was an easy process. I think it did $13,500 or something like that.
SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go to Bring a Trailer if you'd like to see more pictures and auction results!!
Nice ride. Is that an '88?
This one was an 87. Thanks!
Do you know how it drives compared to an '88?
Would have been a beautiful car to land. Hope it went to someone who'll take good care of it.
Oh it did! Thanks!

I'm so sorry but you missed but it sold for $15,500 in August. Good luck in your search!
I miss my black 2M6 had to sell mine due to 2008 market crashing
And now they are up pretty good in value.
Was it ever sold?
Yes awhile back. Sorry you missed it!
Is it still for sale?
Oh no, I am sorry this sold a while back. Good luck in your search!!
Is car still available
No I am sorry it sold a couple year ago.
Looks like fun
Oh man this is the dream
Yes!!
My buddies Pontiac Fiero actually caught on fire today we were drifting it and it started smoking really bad we continue driving next thing we knew it was actually on fire whole thing burnt to nothing within an hour
Oh no!!!
Fieros last a long time if you drive it moderately and don't abuse it.
With the iron duke?
Nice job blowing through that stop sign. 3:13

That's called a california roll. If you're good you can do it in 2nd gear at like 2 mph, don't even have to shift to first or clutch in
I remember when those first came out. They didn't build them very long. Maybe the Insurance cartel destroyed another car?
Apparently Pontiac was losing money on them and had to cut the cord in 1988
No GM owned Pontiac and stopped making them because they were hurting Corvette sales..

It’s for sale ?
Sorry it already sold on Bring a Trailer. Sorry you missed it

car was meant to be driven, so be safe and put NEW tires on it, ffs!
You don't understand what a true collector wants. FFS.
car pulls to left , slipping clutch , shifter looks hard to shift. Seller wouldn t be so buff if he was honest seller. If you complain you get whooped
