Well, it came in a box. The refurbished regular 3DS XL I got years ago came in a branded ziplock. Aside from that, it did look great and it works still (I threw it in the back of the closet years ago after I got the 2DS XL, but it works fine still).
That 3ds is beautiful! I've actually never seen this one opened before. I have the blue 3ds xl which is now over 6 years old and still holding up fairly well I just had to replace my circle pad recently and get a new battery :)
The best bet when the slot is unresponsive like that is to turn the device off, put rubbing alcohol on the cartridge's pins, and move it in and out a few times to clean the connector.
I've literally tried getting 1 of these 3ds xl nes edition's for the past week straight. I bid on one and then last minute my page kept refreshing when I pressed place bid and I lost it. Then I bid on another one same thing happened. Then I looked for about an hour straight and finally found the perfect 3ds xl. The original one I was gonna get had a chip taken out of it and it was all scratched and smudged. Guy got it for $260. Second one was $240 and guy got it. It had lots of scratches and the analog stick needed replaced. I got a beautiful near mint 3ds XL NES edition for $210. It also came with Pokémon ultra sun and a charger. I could not have asked for a better deal. It has nothing wrong with it, Not even a scratch or mark on it. Sadly no box though. Let's hope USPS can deliver it to me with zero damage and have me feeling like a little 13 year old once again. Ik it sounds corny. This is my first time with a 3ds xl since it came out. My brother ended up pawning mine for cash cuz it had just came out and he needed money cuz he lost his wallet. I'm super hyped to have this.

I have the link between worlds special edition 3ds xl (the gold one, I think it came out in 2013) and can confirm that it’s also slow as hell. I still play it all the time and love it, even though I have a switch. There’s just something that can’t beat the feel of a ds. The 3d does hurt my eyes after a while so I turn it off when playing for extended periods (I think it gives me more battery life too with 3d off)
As a proud owner of this specific edition console, I will say that the top screen bezel is the wrong color. The original bezel is more of a gray-ish color.
I got a Refurbished one from games it was a new 2ds xl and there’s a lot of dust that only need one swipe and it looked perfect and it came with 2 free games
Also I already own a 3ds but unfortunately it’s kinda messed up now. But would I still be able to transfer my information to another 3ds when I find one🤔
Actually I'm going to be getting one of those NES classics like that the 3DS XL and a couple weeks and the Yoshi 3DS XL is going for 250 and the other one is gone for 250 at game trader in Sacramento and they're both going for 250 instead of like 139 or 1:59 form
Here in Romania 3ds consoles are cheap. I bought a blue pokemon x and y edition for 100 bucks in good conditions and saw an yoshi edition for 110 bucks in perfect conditions
I have a limited edition 3DS XL like the one that you have on your video it was 274 at fair games and Carmichael in Sacramento game trader on 47th had a version of the same DS but the screen on the front of the system was not working correctly so they could not sell it to me so I had to go fair games on 40 on Carmichael in Sacramento have a good system
If you ever do get a 3DS XL, I highly recommend it. I got mine back in 2014 when I was nine and I still play it today. Even though i have dropped it many times, it still is in great conditions. So the Nintendo 3DS XL should last you at least seven or more years. If you enjoy gaming on the go the 3DS XL is a must.
I paid 130 for the new Nintendo 3ds afew days ago , with 6 games amazing console these will make their money back possibly faster than we would think so tight its spot on

I had bought a Samus limited edition 3DS XL from GameStop for 100 during a sale. I love it to death. Works perfect and had very light scratches on the bottom of the system. But otherwise it's perfect.

I love it but to me it's not really worth it since I already have two 3dss' and the only difference is a paint job. I have a blue 3ds xl mario kart 7 edition, and a galaxy new 3ds xl. I can't see me dropping another $150 for the same thing just with a different paint job. Good on you though enjoy!!
If you mean the games, ds consoles haven't had that issue since the ds lite. The ds lite was the last console that required the game be inserted while shut off.
Honestly the only difference Imo is there is no 3D slider other than that it’s second best to the New Nintendo 3DS XL so take this with your own opinion
Why do you guys even make these videos WE ALL KNOW that GAMESTOP DOES NOT "REFURBISH STUFF" they haven't for the last 2 decades! They just look at it and ship it! It probably just needed a clean that Gamestop does not do, if anything you'll have better luck buying direct from the seller instead of Gamestop, as they are usually much more expensive!

Usually buying any used console from GameStop is a hit or miss sometimes you get good ones or bad ones but it’s a gamble to take with them

I managed to grab a working 3DS XL on ebay for £35, only issues being that the cameras dont work, L key is finikey and it was weirdly sticky.
The Stylus is supposed to be red. I bought one new at launch and it comes with an nes red stylus. Sorry to tell ya.
