One teammate used aether shroud to escape the cutscene when orlaf (or whatever he’s called) is being formed. He then instantly entered the dark aether and started the cutscene within nacht. As that teammate didn’t have aether shroud ready for the boss fight he downed himself.

As I said on your last video, upgrade the Hauer 77 and then get the task force attachment. Does an insane amount of damage, will absolutely help the playthrough. What he did with the Gallo is essentially the same.
Hello MrRoflWaffles, the reason that Zenith downed themself at the end of the Easter egg is that they had used their aether shroud to get out of the viewing room while the boss was going through his monologue. During this time Zenith was completing needed steps to make the easter egg faster and since they no longer had their shroud, they downed in order to make sure no zombies spawn in the boss room. Hope this makes sense now!
17:12 Yes him being down makes it faster since he most likely didn't have his shroud available so killing him self will force zombies to go for people who are outside (people with shroud) and a live rather than zombies going for him.

18:00 Yes, his aether shroud was not ready, which you guessed correctly. Helaman bought the frag grenade and dropped it for him when they were picking up the photo, because he has no kills and had no salvage. So he could down himself and still skip the boss fight
Just to make things clear, only 3 of them stayed in the viewing deck. One left the viewing deck as the doors closed. It was easy to miss, you just have to keep your eyes peeled
Basically what happened is the guys who killed himself at the end used his shroud during the Combing Megaton part to get out of the room. This allowed him to activate the aether and get the ghost talking very fast. Him killing himself makes it so no zombies spawn.
@@royalts8434 not true, I even tried to take the correct aether portal for the diary as we traveled to the coffin and nothing happened it just blocked it. Diary never shows up. They patched it
One of those guys aether shrouded out of the room when they captured the split Megatron and was waiting in nacht for the rift after he breaks out and turns the lights off. There were only three people in the room waiting.

14:30 my team was able to have one person out of the area, i was spamming x to close and it shut while he was just outside of the area and was able to move around the map. With this in mind someone could be out and run strait to the last ether portal to get the monologue happen much faster. (have recorded evidence)
I don't know if you noticed afterwards but during the long cutscene where you have to combine the two mini megaton guys, one of their teammates did aether shroud out of the gate and run up to Nacht so that he could hit the portal immediately.
Additionally so zombies wouldn't spawn in the Boss room, causing a fight between zombies and Orlov, which would ruin the time and risk the run as they can kill Orlov, additionally because he has animations fighting off zombies.
At 14:44 the team mate glitches out w aether shroud then gets the portal instantly.. at the end the 3 others have it and he doesn't which means he need to die fully to respawn outa there.. brilliant!

I feel like that down in the boss fight was because he didn’t have his ather shroud fully charged so he had to die so zombies wouldn’t spawn into the boss fight, I think he might have used it to get out of the cut scene when they’re stuck in the room because they instantly went into the ather after that room but you have to run back to spawn to use that portal
During Orlov's escape from the pod, Zenith did aether shroud out of the room to be right at the portal in nacht. That's why he didn't have it during the boss fight.

The guy went down during boss fight because he used his Aether shroud to get out of the orlov cutscene to activate the picture and dark aether earlier. He went down in boss fight cause he couldn't leave like the other 3, so he died so zombies dont spawn in boss fight room
he used his shroud at the megaton split stage to get to the portal used to get the family picture. he goes down for the reason you said ofc, his shroud wasn’t charged
when carrying the decontamination agent, you can move faster by walking backwards if you have tier 3 stamin-up because of the increased backpedal speed.
I have really liked this one at 5:40 but there is a problemo doing it solo... when you do the step ghosts and diaries it glitches out and the zombies don't attack you. Now the way to fix it is going back into the dark ether and when you pop back into the overworld they come after you. I have ungraded my weapons just farming mindless zombies, the best part is the group up in hoards like they all run to a specific point and group depending where you are on the map.
So just to be clear they phased out of the room where the final “battle” was going on so zombies didn’t spawn in there and the big chungus was able to finish the deactivation faster?
The only thing I am worried is that they are gonna patch some glitches and speedrunning community will get split between old version and new one. It already isn't a popular game to speedrun, yet it could be divided

There is actually a way to instantly get into the dark eather after the fusion and decontamination. If you are with 4 players, you need to frame perfect slide under the door when it closes. Then your out of the room when the cutscene begins. The person who did that can run to the place the portal spawns and instantly activates it after the cutscene. That will be a tremendous time save. :) Ive done it myself once, bc i was curious and it actually worked!
I just got both megaton splitters into the the vat at the same time. It didnt bug out, it actually let me fuse em still. Saved me the time of waiting for the second to go up

I actually managed to somehow cut the coffin dance time short in a solo run. I did the aetherscope anomolies like they did here and in the previous run (when i did the third anomoly it instantly teleported me back), but I think it might have been a bug, because all enemies were permanently de-aggro'd so it was pretty impossible to do any of the other easter egg stuff. Maybe only one person doing the aetherscope anomolies will cause that but i'm not sure.
Tried this yesterday splitscreen with my cousin but this map is so framey splitscreen and the megaton half got stuck under the map and we died to lag next round
U can use aether shroud to go through the wall in the cutscene or if u are fast enough u can just run out of the doors before they close when you follow him he just runs out of Medbay, disappears and the lights turn off but I just wanted to see what he did but you aren’t supposed to see it I guess
You can optimize the wonder weapon collection with trials. If you get good rng and you get an equipment kills trial, it only tales around 6-10 tomahawk kills to get gold. This is good because you only need 1 tomahawk because you can reuse them and it gives you a really good chance of the d.i.e.

you only get the godmode if you're near a ghost when it takes you out of the dark aether with the coffin dance
