    I had to bring back a unit of the previous series because lack of quality. Tilted knob, moving pickup. I hope they have improved quality checks.

      That’s funny, I always heard music man can’t be beat for quality control.

      @@williamperri3437 They’re not Music Man. Sterling is kind of second brand, like Squire is to Fender.

    String through body would be pretty sweet! I’d want 4 string though.

    What is up with that distortion though ?. Where does it originate from ?. Is this a hot pickup ?.

    I have 3 of these exact bass’s and love them,,,, Black, White and Daphne Blue (which is a light turquoise blue’ish color) but I’ve never seen that true shade of blue available before, where did you find it ?
    That shade of blue is not on their website or listed on seller websites I checked out ?

      They’ll be released to most music retailers soon. Probably at the end of this week! This particular finish is called Lake Toluca Blue which is Music Man’s take on Lake Placid Blue!

      Wait, you bought three of these in short scale? Can you elaborate? I can say that other than maybe the discontinued Squire SC with the jazz and precision pick up this is the best shirt scale I’ve ever ever heard. I’m assuming you bought three because a lot of stuff is discontinued eventually and you love it?

      @@williamperri3437 , I actually have four of the Sterling short scale bass’s now with my recent purchase of new red Stingray.
      I have a fairly large collection of bass’s, long and short scale, 4 and 5 string, I’m currently selling off all my bass’s except for my four Stingray short scale bass’s.
      I’ve definitely become addicted to using only my short scale Stingray’s while all my other bass’s are collecting dust.
      The only dust collecting bass I considered keeping was my short scale Squire Jag that does have the P/J pickup configuration but I have decided to sell that one as well.

      @@BassedInVegas How does the Jaguar SC sound slapped? I finally went to buy one but they had discontinued them. I appreciate that and more of a finger pick a style base but apparently someone recently said they sound pretty good slapping.

    My waiting patiently for a 35” string through body 5 string stingray 🙏🙏🙏🙏

      @mikebrueggman6666 5 месяцев назад +1

      They probably would never do a 35” because in the 35th anniversary video for the Stingray 5, Sterling Ball said that they got the bridge right on a 5, thus making the low B not sound tubby nor having to go up in scale length by an inch

      surely, but anyway our bodies gonna fall apart some day. Better to think and worry about the Soul or Spirit or how you wanna call it (like an operating system), that is the real One playing that bass.
