- Do you guys even know a bag more iconic than the Dior Saddle bag?
It has been the object of desires of generations and it has just made a huge come back with influencers never leaving their apartment without this bag on their hand.
This week I decided to make a DIY tutorial of the new Christian Dior Saddle bag, perfect both as a pouch or as a cross over bag.
And the best thing about this amazing accessory is that you can change the straps to match any outfit or style; AWESOME!

DIY DIOR BAG TUTORIAL:
- Print the bag from the website ( or screenshot my tutorial) and trace the shape on paper.
- use the patterns on the leather and trace the shapes
- sow the frontal pockets together
- sow on the back pocket the belt loops
- sow on the second back section the straps loops.
- Sow together all 5 the leather layer and leave open the top section.
- Insert in the opening the 2 leather stripes that fall over the front of the Dior bag.
- Sow in the initial Lette on the longer stripe.
- Build several colorful straps for cross over strap.

Nice results! I remember making a purse flask and it came out like this too...also if you don’t have a Teflon foot to sew leather just add some tape to bottom of sewing machine foot and it acts in the same way.

Nice work! It looks like you are using a home sewing machine? If so, do you mind telling us what type of needle and thread you use ?
Yes I am!!! I literally asked in the store for what to use and they gave me a needle for leather (I think it’s the same one you use for heavy jeans) and an adjustable plastic foot. It’s written on the box that it’s good for heavy materials

Yes I’m using it for everything :) I have only one. I change the needle and the foot for leather/denim but the sewing machine is the same one.
