Perfect hero. Selfless. Unyielding. I love his expression of relief when backup got there. And then the shift into meanest MFer in the Valley around 2min before the fight starts. Evans nailed the emotional range like no other.

Thats what makes him so awesome. I used to not like him because 'he didn't have any real powers' outside of just being the average superhuman. But then I realized that his greatest strength is leadership, which is brightly displayed in Civil War and his other movie where he has to stand against Hydra alone. When it comes to issues of morality and such, Captain America is never wrong. It's just in him to be on the right side, and that's why I became a fan of him.

@LegoTom I'm in the US. Usually I would agree with being quiet during movies, but something like this is meant to get reactions out of people. Like I cant imagine seeing this for the first time in a theater and everyone sitting there like statues during it, how boring. 1. Believe that God sent His Son

      2. Confess to Jesus that you are a sinner and ask forgiveness for your sins and Turn away from your sins. If you sin again after asking forgiveness of that sin, ask forgiveness again and try not to do it ever again. Jesus will forgive you!
       3. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and your life and for Him to be your Lord and Savior forever.
      4. Build a Personal Relationship with Jesus by Praying and Reading the Bible daily and Live for Him Forever.

This was not a scene in one movie. It was the culmination of 23 spectacular movies that brought comic book characters to life and made them our fictional heroes and idols. By the time this scene happened, we actually cared about each character. That is why giant robots can smash giant kaiju in junk movies like Pacific Rim and no one cared, but when Iron man died we all choked up. It was truly Marvel's golden age, and I think they will never reach the same heights again. Ridley Scott tried to remake Alien and the sequels were no good. Peter Jackson tried to make sequels to his Lord of the Rings trilogy and no one cared. I think that's how it will be with MCU going forward. They will try to make movies as good as the ones they made in Phase 3. But they won't be able to. There will still be enjoyable MCU movies. But Endgame really was the end of an era.

Everything from Cap getting the hammer till this moment is straight up be the greatest moment in cinema history for a long time. 20 films in the making, leading up to this moment. Nothing will top it. You'll have these Oscar nominated films and such, but they won't have this audience reaction. Cinema gold. So glad we got to be there for it.

One of my favorite things about this battle is that it shows Pepper _did_ practice with the suit. Despite what Tony thought/joked, she genuinely put in the effort to learn how to use/control her Rescue armor, even if the only time she ever thought she might have to do it was to come to Tony's aid. That was all the incentive she needed.

    • @ShadeSlayer1911

Not only that, but looking at the timing of her arrival, she had to have left without any knowledge that the other heroes were going to arrive. She didn't know help was coming. She didn't know if anyone else was even still there who could fight. She probably got some idea that Tony, Cap, and Thor failed in their fight, and she put on the suit and went there...ALONE, knowing in all likelihood that she'd be fighting Thanos by herself. But she went anyway. Pepper has her moments.

It's hard to write for the Hulk, it's the equivalent of writing for Superman. So many strengths, almost no weaknesses. I hate when writers reduce powerful characters to fit a narrative. It would've been special to see for sure. I understand completely on why they ended up with this outcome.

I remember seeing this when I was in 5th grade with my friend. We had watched all the marvel movies together and we went to see this masterpiece on a Saturday night. Nothing was spoiled to us, so the movie was 100x better. We went through laughter, crying and Moments with no emotion. We unfortunately did not watch any marvel movie together after that because none came out at a time when we could hang out, and then, 10 months later, lockdown happened. We’re not as connected as much now, but watching this video reminds me of that night, which will go down as one of my favorites.

There was nothing better than watching it in a theatre with other fans and seeing this scene for the first time. By far one of the best scenes in the MCU! I still remember the excitement that I felt when King T'challa, Shuri and Okoye came out of the portal.
