- Climb and ski descent of the Y-Couloir on Mount Conness and the Conness Glacier, in the Tioga Pass/Yosemite region of California's Sierra Nevada mountains. The "Y" proved to be a fairly steep line that would have been very scary with harder snow. Luckily we hit it just right. April 29, 2012.
love the dog! Does anyone know if tioga pass resort is still open for business in the winter?
I love dogs too. I hate that their owners took them into a closed area - the Harvey Monroe Hall Research Natural Area. This is a known bighorn sheep area as well. Just plain selfish. Not respectful of nature.
Dog made it? Dang
Thanks for sharing great video heading up next week
Looks like sick zone 👍🏽
What a day!
looks like fun
was the 120 open for this? where did you start at?
+Kurt Williams Yes, TPR was open. We started at Hwy 120 at Saddlebag Lake Rd.
I'm very disappointed you chose to take a dog into a closed area - the Harvey Monroe Hall Research Natural Area. This is a known bighorn sheep area as well. Just plain selfish. Not respectful of nature. Oh, and I do love dogs. And Bighorn. And coyotes. And ground squirrels and marmots and plenty of other creatures.
Be prepared. Stay informed. Do the right thing.
@Thorekk just make sure you self isolate. idiot.
