Wow! I love every one of these. So hard to pick a favorite. The baby Jesus on a wood slice is precious. You knocked it out if the park my sweet friend! 🥰🤗🙏🏽
Oh my gosh I saw this video and I was so excited. I have been looking and I have not found any creators that are doing any kind of Advent crafts that aren't for children. Please please please do more Advent and Nativity crafts.
THRILLED to have discovered you! Your Advent gifts are simply beautiful. I’ve already gifted my bible study gals with their Christmas gifts because I made journals, etc for them and we have a new study coming up shortly. These crosses are just what I need to pass out when sharing the gospel. SO many thanks sister! Beverly….Psalm 91
Donna, I could watch your channel forever. I love each and everyone of your projects in each on way. When I was a child I made all kinds of things out of nature. God gave us these things to create and to made our world go round. He gave people the knowledge to use and create on all levels. I remember taking sweet gum balls and spray painting them red and putting on our Christmas tree. This was 40 years ago. Way before Walmart, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby’s was in our area. I cut down bamboo and made little houses. Used sand as glitter. Twigs were my friend. I was reared on a small farm and we worked hard for what we had. Dad worked and Mom drove a school bus and had a job in between and we worked the farm after school school on on weekends. We had what we needed.
Aw, thanks for sharing with Denise!! Sounds like you had a very creative childhood, as did I. I appreciate you always stopping by and leaving such sweet comments. I hope you have a Merry Christmas. Hugs 💖🤗
Hello, I love your Christmas days. My favorite is the Baby Jesus plaque. I watched this program 3 times, I Loved what you did so much I couldn't get enough. I really Love your style.
Dear Donna, I love all the projects because they were about the real meaning of Christmas. I have had a very ruff week and this video has helped me lift up my spirits. Please say a prayer for me; I have Leukemia as well as other things. Thank you for making me feel better. Linda Chimera Alvarez from New Orleans
I did some crosses like that for Lent. And I made a planter box put in an arrangement of Three crosses and then spring florals. I reused at that same box for my fall decor. Maybe I'll do something with it for Advent
Donna, you are diffidently my most favorite crafter now. I am so glad I found you!🫶 I love your love of nature and your love of Who created nature🙏🏼 I love nature and being in nature. I'm older so crafting nature helps so much. Thank you so much. God bless you and your family this Christmas season and everyday🙏🏼❤️🫶
Ohhh Donna , everything is beautiful but I have to say the manger ornament is one of my most favourite things you’ve ever made ❤. I loooove it!!!! Thanks for sharing everything ❤
Oh my goodness Donna such awesome awesome projects you have created! I love them all. God has absolutely blessed you with your talent. Take care and God Bless y'all always
Also to answer your question from before, I bought most of my Christmas village from Walmart and a few from Joann fabrics. I bought some unpainted ones too and me and my son painted them all years ago.
Your video was wonderful...I loved your saviour theme for Christmas it was just perfect...you always come up with such great project idea's...Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas 2022
Donna, I was so excited to see another beautiful and creative video. I appreciate your style of mixed media so much. Keep up the great work! Love ya Girl😊😉
Good afternoon, Donna! These Christmas diys are absolutely precious. It captures the meaning of Christmas. I love them all. Thank you for inspiring! ❤✝️🎄
Everything Created Here Is Gorgeous...... I Just Love The Picture Frame! It's Beautiful! I Wish You Would Do Another Foraging Video, the First One Was Wonderful! ❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚
Thank you kindly Cathy 💖 Snow came early here, so foraging hasn't been the best. I am planning on heading out to get fresh evergreens though, I plan to record that if it all goes well 😉 Thanks for watching 💖
I love that idea with the wood round. I have some wood slices like that coming in the mail soon and I have a bunch of vintage newspapers and songs so this will be perfect. I bet you could also use bark and twigs for the manger. Where I live there's no birch bark so I don't know what I would use.
I'm always looking for alternatives so instead of the modeling paste could you use spackling? Or maybe white paint that has some sort of additive to it like I don't know baking soda is what I always hear?
I know that a lot of your videos use nature items and more neutral colors. But would you consider doing some Advent videos that use the Advent colors of purple and Rose? I would really love to see something like that because I have been looking on Pinterest and RUclips and I'm not finding much. Mostly the only thing that I'm finding is advent wreaths. Which is fine but I'd like some other ideas too.
I was thinking you could wrap purple embroidery thread around 3 of the crosses instead of white like Donna did and on your 4th use the pink/rose . You could also make 3 purple tags and 1 rose as well . I think that would be beautiful as you hang one each week ❤
I'd have to think about, it's definitely not a colour combination I use 😉 if anything I would create something neutral that can be switched out with another colour if someone would like!! I'll keep it in mind for next year! Thanks for the suggestion. Dawn makes some great suggestions as well. Merry Christmas 💖
I really suck at decoupage so this may sound like a really strange question but can you put the glue on the paper instead of on the surface if you don't want to get the glue all over the surface?
