A small correction there, the first stand alone plane from Black Square was the Velocity XL. Though that one didn’t sell very well because Black Square was an unknown developer back then and almost no one wanted to review that plane for some reason.
Nice review! A question, do you also find that the Engine Trend Monitor doesn't display values for the "Fuel to Dest" and "ETE to Dest" fields since update 1.2 ? This is with the PMS GTN750 configuration.
Thanks :) the a2a comanche is still in a league of its own for me when it comes to GA. The turbine duke is probably the most complete turboprop, but i have more of an attachment to the 850, but like i said it’s more of a personal preference (mostly from watching steveo flying it on yt :D)
Xbox version LMAO. The decision to add Xbox support destroyed the entire MSFS 2020/2024 simulation. Thanks a lot, to the console crybaby freaks. You can't let us have a great flight simulator, you have to take it over and change it into a snowflake kid console game and ruin it.
@@FlightSimSchool The TBM850 is highly modified to work on the Xbox. This destroys FPS and control setting up on a PC without the Xbox controls showing. It's turned the aircraft into a joke not a simulation.
I have it on PC with the latest update and I don’t see what you’re seeing. Maybe there’s something in your settings that’s making it show the Xbox controls?
@@georgefaulk2528 flight sim has a tendency to reset your preferences when it gets an update (it once set everything back to beginner mode on me), might be worth checking out.

Good catch, I missed that one when I was fact checking myself, even though I had literally looked at the Velocity a few days earlier :D

I didn’t notice it, but I’ll check it out next time I fly it.
Still one of my favorite non-airliner aircraft. Its an amazing aircraft in the sim. Love flying it in Colorado and Arizona area.
Thanks for the honest review. Been lovin the Comanche and 310R. Keeps ya just the right amount of busy. Might add this to the hanger.
Hey Mark, thanks for another great vid! Quick question: how do you record the pan view right at the beginning of the vid?
Using the drone cam, and slowing down the rotation speed :)
Really miss the VNAV in this one.
Other than that - great plane. Defo a favourite for GA.
A wise man once said "Check the ITT for Hot Starts, NG for Hung Starts"
I’ve heard that one before ;)
So wish they would offer A G1000 option
Your videos are the best thank you!
Thank you for the kind words Luke, much appreciated.
Thank you brother. i think the F-16 got an major up too right?
Yep I think so. I actually haven't picked it up yet though.
Hey Marc, nice video. Noticed you rate TBM 4/5. What is in your view, the best-rated GA? My top are TBM and the Dukes.

Xbox availability?
@@FlightSimSchool thanks. I have the Comanche but have to admit that I haven’t used it very much due to low speed.
Yeah I get it. I plan for very short legs with the Comanche!
The Comanche is on Xbox, the TBM is not yet but I suspect it’s coming since the duke is now available
530s are extinct. Time to step up.
I cant get over the fact that they use stock sounds, that alone made a no go for me.
I was really hoping for a sound update too.

I don’t see how that’s relevant to the TBM850. It’s a very detailed model, regardless of if you fly it on PC or Xbox.
