In my live stream tonight, I shared my experiences and insights into trading. I talked about how last year, I traded Forex and with a small account. I also discussed my trade setups and how my risk to reward ratio varies depending on how close the price is to my trend line. I emphasized that my approach is heavily focused on technical analysis, and I don't incorporate fundamental analysis into my trading strategy.
I went on to talk about my trading performance in 2023, including the instruments I traded and my profit factor and win percentage. I also analyzed the charts for oil and platinum, explaining my strategy and pointing out potential trade setups. I mentioned that I only trade the 4-hour time frame and don't consider the angle of trend lines in my analysis.
Additionally, I talked about my mentorship program and the upcoming accelerator session starting on April 3rd: toritradez.com I concluded the video by answering viewer questions and discussing my Discord community.

Girl you made 94k last year trading. I think your strategy works. 😂 For me, I wouldn’t enter as soon the line is broken. I would wait for it develop and show it’s a true trend change (unless it’s an overall trend continuation )and then I’d enter…but mastering holding the trade for the duration of the trend is definitely something to aspire after.

My strategy is the opposite now, i feel like i miss every break but good at spotting fakeouts. So now i just mark levels and trendlines and wait a fakeout on those and buy that false break down. It feels easier because break is usually fast but fakey is slower, so i have time to spot it

Love the 4 hour! Do you have more than one trade on a time? ...For example CL and ES both trades running at once or do you just concentrate on one at a time?

Great video, do you trade leverage? If so how much? I used to swing trade and went to scalping day trading but might hop back to swing, used to trade 3-5x scalping now 10-15x
Do you go in with your full position size? Since your initial starting balance was only 20k?

I believe trading price action, it is not practical to have a risk to reward ratio in mind. The market gives and does what it wants to do. Simply just try to put yourself in the best position if it changes. All probabilities.

I have watchwd some live video's. I like this way of trading. What I noticed is that nobody asked how much risk you take on 1 trade. If you're account balance is 5000 dollar (last live stream) and you winning trade was 3000 dollar (pr oil trade), How much risk do you take then?

Does the trendline strategy works also on lower timeframes?
I tried trade station. To switch over from currencies to futures. I really don't like their trading charts and platform? I am now going over to Ninja Trader. Maybe because I was charting on my mobile. But trade station charts were just too confusing and conjested.
Any advice?

I need to test and try your 4h strategy to see if I’m profit cause I’m dying over here. On the shorter timeframes plus ’Im so impatince loosing my trades.since I don’t have a specific strategy.

Just remember, if you don't slow down and do it right, starting now, it'll take even longer. You don't have time to waste, so get it right
I trade stocks on the 5 minute chart with the EMA8. If the 15 minute and hourly Stochastic are moving up and the 5 minute stochastic turns up and the price closes above the EMA8 then it is a long. When the price closes below the EMA8 that is take profit. All day trading and no swings. I look for a couple hundred dollars per trade.
What are the parameters for stochastic?

Moving averages & oscillators are very sloppy…they offer almost no precision
You can be infinitely more precise using a completely naked chart. The candlesticks are all you need. I urge you to start learning DTFX concepts, and or ICT concepts. Both teach you how to trade by gaining a deep understanding of the CANDLESTICKS.
I traded with indicators my first couple of years & once I started studying DTFX / ICT I realized I’d never go back moving averages, MACD, etc

No worries. They certainly get complicated but I've found that ignoring the complex strategies and just focusing on momentum trading has been the best for me. And that's why I like your content!!! Good luck in your 2024 season!

I also trade trend lines. Stick to this with success. Keeping simple is the way to go. I do also keep and er out for fundamental news especially if there's anything breaking that could affect an entry. So I'll wait to has subsided a little and then check again. Success, is being patient and stick to strategy.

I thought with futures you can't hold positions over 24hrs since the markets close for an hour each day? I'm currently taking a top step challenge and I'm not sure if that's just a prop firm rule?
That’s just a prop firm rule
Basically, Futures prop firms are for scalpers, intraday, and daytraders.

Hey Tori, quick question, for some reason when I am drawing trendlines on the continuous contract for certain markets in futures, often times if I draw the line on lets say a daily or weekly timeframe, when i zoom into a lower timeframe the trendline will be completely out of proportion relative to price on that different timeframe. I do my charting using Think or Swim. Have you had any issues when drawing trendlines on one time frame and then if you go to another timeframe the trendline is completely off? Or do you typically draw your trendlines on a specific contract month chart? For instance, like drawing your trendlines and support and resistance on, lets say, June Crude Oil vs the Crude Oil continuous contract. Thanks
