Good review! It looks like it goes on sale with the DLC every month or so for $6.. debating on getting this or Raiden V for $9.. dodging a hell of bullets and veering towards Raiden V.

Nestor Esteves umm.... Actually the game first published as those downloaded games in old Nokia devices, then there was a sequel also on Nokia devices and then a technical reboot on smartphones and now being released on Nintendo Switch.

I so wanted a "modern" 1942 game.. This one has me actually excited to play.. The extended edition is pricey for an e shop shmup at 37 AU although the 22$ extension adds 25 levels.. I will stick with the basic game which will still be plenty fun and is currently on sale for 15 AU.. that's much more like it.
Ok watched whole review.. i'm on my own.. Not only do i not know any other switch owners locally, I literally know no one else that plays games period, not locally anyway. All my friends are not interested (which is why i hope when i meet my partner some day they will love games.. but that's another story). Still worth it for single player?
The schmup for WWII buffs.. And, I guess RPG fans too.. It's kind of a hybrid shooter rpg.. It's pretty cool tbh

I hope Nintendo continues and furthers it's seasonal sales. I think if a game goes on sale on Steam it should also go on sale on Switch. If not for the same price, at least lower than 5% or some nonsense.
I think the reason the protagonists have German accents (despite fighting for the Allies) is that they're traitors to the Axis. They may have been members of the Kreisau Circle or just Germans who fled right at the knick of time, and showed their support for the Allies by proving themselves as fighter pilots.
I love this game! My only complaint is the load times, but I don't find them game breaking.

Hi james finally wound up getting Steredenn and its amazing wound up getting Graze Counter GM which left me with $8 so i wind up buying Thunder Dragon 2 with it so i stumble across Aces Of The Luftwaffe and it blew me away how amazing it looks so i check the price on eShop and its $3.99 what does homer simpson say? DOH!!!! Im definitely getting this when i can
this game is a sequel to the mobile game aces of the luftwaffe made by the same developers
Just got this yesterday for $3.57 glad I had money left over i actually thought i spent it all when i bought Thunder Dragon 2
I loved the game but some of the voices really bugged me, and some of the issues like fear of heights,falling asleep, and going berserk which litterly can spawn rape you in some occasions.
Yea I didn't like the parts where the characters have certain failings during flight. Quite annoying but I still enjoyed this with friends.
Cool version of 1942 for $20-30. I’ll pass on it now.
