I'm sure there's some legal reason for this, but I really wish they would have shown the brands of these liquors -- especially that rum! If it can fool an expert for $24 a bottle I wanna try it.
I once went to a whiskey tasting at a well-known Canadian distillery…at one point our host lined up a row of rye whiskeys and then asked us all to pick our favourite. Of course it unanimously was the cheapest, mass market one! I guess the more expensive ones were too challenging for our inexperienced palates.
Came here to say that I've really missed this series! The pros explain things really well and give credit where credit is due to the process and effort, without dumping all over the less expensive version of something just because it's cheap, and that's what I appreciate about them.
I think it would be fun to have a non-expert college student try to guess cheap vs expensive liquor. Experts have been trained to identify the subtle differences that indicate quality, but I would like to see how noticeable they would be to a layperson. Plus, I could a college student, like myself back in the day, taking a whiff of the tequila and saying, "Okay, this one is making me flash back to that crazy night on Spring Break."
5:47 - bro, I was feeling sleepy, nodding along, totally in the chill-music-vibe with the off-brand "Orinoco Flow" song - and then BWAAAM, the transition noise almost knocked me outta my chair!
This is great, but I wish the brands/labels were at least mentioned? She talks about some really interesting flavour profiles but none of us can try them ourselves due to the anonymity, not to mention how we can't go on price since it fluctuates.
guess that's the comeback series of the year :p very nice to see it return & especially that the art style stayed the same, hope u guys just didn't find the big chalkboard and it returns next time :p
I really enjoyed this, she is fun and bubbly. Her vocabulary is quite interesting and I learned so much. Does she have a masterclass? I will enroll in it if she does.
Can you do an episode for wine with Konstantin Baum as the wine expert !? PLEASE !!!! I know you've done a wine one before, but maybe you can focus it on red wine only.
My dad would always say paying high dollar amounts for "fancy" vodka is a waste. Given that the professional here could BARELY distinguish between an $18 bottle and $150 bottle, I'd say he might be onto something.
Paying a huge amount for vodka is stupid as really you should just be choosing it for the material as potatoes and corn or grain vodka does at least make some taste difference not much but it does myself I prefer potatoes vodka but that is my choice other people may think differently. In fact there isn't much difference except more impurities would be removed so more smoothly texture and less harsher burning that of course is my opinion having worked as a bar back ( the guy that stocks the shelves at the bars and it does require some knowledge) and having tasted more than a few times cheap vodka and expensive vodka.
I went to the Wild Turkey distillery outside of Lexington KY on a tour and it was really fun and informative. At the end they gave us samples to try. When I tried the Rye Whiskey, I must have made a face cause the lady doing the tour looked at me and said "not a Rye fan I see" I was pretty embarrassed
It should be stated that there are really great products out there in the $20-$30 range. Just because they aren't $100+ doesn't mean they're low quality.

I would guess that it's Goslings. That's what's on the shelf behind her.
no way. Goslings is so bland.@@northernsnow6982
Might be Appleton, it’s normally around that price point
@@northernsnow6982 dark rum and jamaican rum are different things
The Goslings behind her is a black strap rum, so it would be much darker.
I've been rewatching the entire price point series over and over hoping itd come back one day,
I really hope the video does well so we can get more
Agree!
Yessss, I love this series. I don't know why they stopped it.
Same, hoping the series is coming back!!
Ditto!
yes agreed!
Its back! Im so excited. I miss the big chalk board, but the small one will do. This expert was a delight : )
Hopefully they’ll find a chalk artist soon 😬
it's back in the new pickle episode!
I feel like she explained everything in very human and normal terms, not snobby. I love that
I was really hoping for Price Points to come back, this has always been my favorite series on this channel!
Literally, price points was the ONE thing that made me come to this channel. Keep making them, I swear. They’re great.
YES! I've been hoping we'd get some new episodes of this!
It's great to see this series return, they were great in the past!
So excited to see this series back. It was one of the biggest reasons why I come to this channel
So when she drinks a dozen spirits in a row she's an "expert", but when I do I'm an "alcoholic" and "need help"...
Randy marsh?
I never say this, but don't swallow.
The differences she's not actually drinking it
She's just tasting.
She’s not swallowing
OMG YES! This series is back! THANK YOU!
I wish they showed the brands of the liquor. I’m always up for trying new stuff
THIS!! WHY NO LABELS EPICURIOUS?!
Love y'alls channel 💓
Was just thinking this. I want to try the Jamaican rum 🍹
@@jeremygold6331i guess it's because to avoid legal issues with the alcohol brands.
@@jennykim01
They do it on all brands
@@jennykim01what legal issues?
Thank you for bringing this series back! I love it! ❤

YES! I absolutely loved this whole series and am so excited to see a new addition! I hope for more to come!
I have always been a fan of this specific series. Very informative!
I'm so glad this series is back, I loved it!
So happy to see a new one of these! And she was a wonderful expert, very descriptive and clear.
I’ve had some really bad expensive rum and great cheap ones so I wouldn’t feel too bad about that last one.
Yep. I'm not a rum drinker for all of the reasons she used when describing them :)
I really want to see an episode of this for Cheap vs Expensive sushi!
Mmm. Gas station sushi.
That would be a two-part video to get the 24-hr after effects.
Not Experts but GMM tastes alot of food haha, including Sushi (expensive vs cheap)
@@brokenice420 *a lot. Why do SO many Americans spell a lot as one word?
@@yamanmustafa no idea, autocorrect often tries to correct me. haha
Love this series! More, please!!!

Best series. Keep it going please!
Classic adage: "The best ________ is the one you enjoy." Props to her for owning up to the rum decision!
When I was watching Price Point last time, I was a virgin 16 y.o. boy. Now I am already a mom of 3 children. Glad you are back!
This don't add up
Uh wat?
So glad they brought price points back! I miss the chalk art though 😢
I wish the brands were revealed at the end Or at least the lower price point ones that she found it enjoyable
she's so charismatic, lovely and authentic - it's unbearable to not fall in love with her
I need her skincare regimen.
Miss this series so much!
Waited them out for 4 years.
Finally! We have been waiting for a new episode. Please keep these coming

Now do a video on the spectrum of rums with an expert.
So much this. Everyone likes to talk about how varied and distinct whiskeys are, and then they're like "white rum, dark rum, and spiced rum".
Genuine question: what do y'all do with all the liquor when she's done?
Get smashed obviously
liquor doesnt go bad, basically ever. they likely keep it around the studio for special occasions.
and with the cheap stuff, you can still mix or cook
Not going to tell us what they are?
Probably to avoid any backlash or advertisement towards a product
So happy this is back

A video idea: meat parts explained by a butcher. Telling us more about different cuts etc.
It should be stated that there are really great products out there in the $20-$30 range. Just because they aren't $100+ doesn't mean they're low quality.
Where is the board?
IT'S BACK!! Wish I could say the same for Ro Knight's chalkboards 🥲
Was waiting for the classic "I barely know her!"
AWESOME I LOVE THIS VIDEO
It's been a while since they made one of these videos.
I’m Mike Arre and I too I’m a liquor expert 🥴🍺😂
Hey wait a minute, did they get rid of the amazing chalk artist???
