yep, someone already did the math and you can save up to 36600 in 3 months just from doing daily/weekly/anihilation alone, and 54600 if you have monthly pass. this isnt counting in orundum/permit/originite that you can get from other source, plus the fact that monhun event give you free 20x pull too. so yeah... just go wild in texalter banner and hope everyone get what they wanted.

99% of the character value comes from A SINGLE COPY. Dont pull after you get both Texalter AND Penance, because saving for the next banners will bring 100x more value than one trick pony "that is 2 dp cheaper" for all your savings.
You also have to consider that Yalter does physical damage, meaning that more bosses resist what she does. As well as Texalter having a arts shred that allows other arts units to deal increased damage. Where Yalter has in raw damage, Texalter makes up with for utility. Although im not 100% on this, texalter deals more dps damage overtime than Yalter, correct me if im wrong.
As i know yato deals both phys and arts dmg nearly 50/50 ratio, and loses to Texas at single target dmg only when boss have very high def (and now its only patriot as i remember but iam not sure)
You can litterally gurantee Yato alter by just skipping Chong yue banner There is NO reason to skip texas alter Also yatos damage falls off ridiculously hard when enemy def gets high

They fill very similar roles and are interchangeable, neither of which is particularly stronger as they both have some pros and cons. Though Yato is true limited so if you only have enough for one it might be more sensible to go for Yato.

@XenGlaris so if I remember correctly, certain moves are guaranteed paralysis ( the cross AoE strikes for sure), but since he inflicts thunderblight on his normal moves, his next hit is almost a guaranteed paralysis. He's not tough but just annoying really, small frame, and somewhat random lightning strikes when he prances around (those can stun too). At max tempered level (ie strongest version in MR) all his lightning moves will one shot.
Isn't there a hard pity at 120 pulls on the MH banner? So you really won't need to whale. Just save for a bit. Not that hard to save up 120 pulls in arknights.
I think you missed to emphasize that Yato only power creeps Texas' S2 (Yes I know they deal different forms of damage but Yato S2 is still usually better). Meanwhile, Texas' primary skill and arguably the reason why she is so busted is her S3 which Yato can't even try to replicate (or any other operator for that matter).
I pull for every unit, regardless how good they are. But I am really looking forward to max-potting Texas the Omertosa. She was already one of my favorite vanguards, and she will be one of my favorite executors.
Yato is cool, Texas is also cool. You can pull both of them due to Yato have 120 pulls as hard pity and there is 4 months gap between them. Also, you get 20 pulls for free in Yato events so you only needs to save 100 pulls which is easy in 4 months.
I don’t care if Yato is coming. The OG Texas carried me when I was a newbie (and shes also one of my waifu) and when I heard that her alter is coming, I save a lot for her (more than I save for Gavial alter). Also I think I can save enough pulls for Yato cause of the time gap between Texas alter event and MH event
The advise of not pulling for her because of kirin x yato is pretty stupid. . we get like a 6 month window after texas event before mh collab comes. in that time, f2p can get 36600 orundum or 54600 with monthly pass, and that's not including currency you can get from other sources. we also get 20 free pulls and it only takes like 120 pulls to get her guaranteed compared to 300 for other limited units. .
Okay, You said Texas S3 is her strongest skill and it's AOE And then say we wouldn't want her because Yato can replace Texas's S2 but can't do the same work as Texas's S3? That's contradicting.

If you start saving from texas alter banner till kirin, can still earn enough to get her from 120 pull pity so I’m not worried. Beside that her ability to both stall and deal dmg make her more versatile to be use in more situations. Lastly why just have 1 but when you can get 2 powerful fast redeploy, with a chance of Penance
I never play Arknights before until today and for my surprise I get Texas from my first 20 free pulls... I'm still lvl 1 and didn't even completed zone 1 completely. I hope she is good enough to get me thru some content for few days, at least to get to see more of Arknights. I am a Path to Nowhere player and Arknights seems pretty cool so far. Great video

Edit : Also afaik kirito is 120 pulls for pity and 20 pulls are already given free. There was also a long time between them in cn server, enough to save 100 pulls. So pulling texalter isnt gonna cause anyone any problem getting kirito. Unless you pull in standard banners.
just get both, even if you get broke (zero funds) after Lin+Chongus banner (limited banner AFTER TEXAS), you can still guarantee 100 pulls for Yato as a f2p (MH Collab event has free 20 pulls)
that banner has skadi and penance, plus the upcoming banners are meh so there's almost no reason for me not to pull. I'll be saving for yato alter after this anyways
I'm not a whale, i'm like a goldfish that spends on monthly cards only. And i've been saving for Texas Alter. If Texas Alter was a non-fast redeploy, i'd settle her for 1, but since she is a fast redeploy operator, i will try to at least pull for her Pot 1 since 1 DP can be massive in the same battle when using her multiple times.
You should probably not assume people have pot 5. At E2, her second talent at pot 1 is 8% ASPD and 25% damage reduction. And at 7:50, her trait doesn't reduce her deployment time by 2 seconds; thats from potential 4. People have already called out the original clickbait of skipping her for Yato. It bears repeating as its just irresponsible. They have different roles, you could even use both and the collab pity means you only need 100 pulls max after free pulls, which you can get in time. And its also a bit weird you read off pot 5 stats, but also suggest skipping.
Kirin x Yato doing primarily physical attack against single targets (with additional as arts) while Texalter is AoE Arts +immediate redeployment upon a kill. With how Arts works, Texas is better, but they ultimately fufill slightly different niches that make either viable. The only actual reason to pull Yato Alter is cause the banner is extremely limited so she isn't coming back afterwards
not exactly, I'm cn server player so I can tell you both of them are very powerful. Many people even consider yato is way more strong than Texalter. you can check the video of highest risk CC12, and yato plays an important role in the team. Not only that, they all perform well in any game mode especially IS3. if you get both of them in one single game of IS3 then you win.

Just like having Surtr and NTR together in one team, sometimes is helpful to kill boss fast, sometimes only bring one of them is enough so u can put extra Vanguard or other ops in team But most of time, i use surtr and ntr together to switch who kill boss and who kill Elite enemy, but sometimes u need bring other Role like Vanguard

the event itself will give you free pulls so youll definetly guaranteed to get at least 1 6* at worst. and yea... i definitely recommend to pull for texas alter.
just remember to absolutely save everything after texas alter event ended, because in a few months after that you'll gonna need every single orundum for yato alter from monster hunter collab, which is a true limited because you wont be able to get her anymore once the collab is over.
Imo, texas alter and yato alter are in the same situation pozy and schwarz was back then during the 3rd global anni, they dont power creep each other but they are similar in strengths. they do power creep phantom tho :(
Using Pozyomka and Schwarz as analogy is bad because Pozyomka is better in most situation. Schwarz starts to get better than Pozyomka when enemy has 2000+ defense which is unrealistic (because Arts damage exists). Unlike them, Yato and Texas complement each other, Yato for low-mid DEF enemy and Texas for low-mid RES enemy.
They are no where similar lmao Pozy powercreeps schwarz on almost all content Texas arts damage and her utility is no where replaced by yato alter and yalter struggles hard against high def enemies Whoever made this video made a big error at that part

I'm cn server player. so I can tell you that considering the coming IS3, I strongly recommend you to pull for Texalter and yato. because both of them perform so well in IS3
I came back to the game a couple of months ago and I'm considering sparking on Texas banner. Granted my 6* operator selection isn't amazing, but it is decent enough. Surtr, Ejya, Exus, Bagpipe, Mudrock to mention a few. Also planning to get the selector and would most likely end up with Penance on the way to spark and maybe an off-banner or two. The operator I really want would be Skadi alter, both for useful reasons and just having my favorite design. So, would you say I'm wasting my resources here or is it a decent plan?
Well, I will get both... both is good Also, i started playing 8-9months ago because of Texas. Now I have 300 pulls for her without counting OP. Also i got lucky with 10pulls in specter the unchained, if i get Texas with the pulls maybe i will spark skadi alter for broken abyssal hunters team.

I mostly have 110 pulls without couting the OP at the moment and started saving after spalter's banner, I pulled if I remember 40 times to get pozy on gavialter's banner but that only brings me up to 150 pulls if didn't pull on the banner, so how the hell did you get 300 pulls?
@@-GachaAddict- I started saving since the beggining... i only pulled the begginer's banner and the free pulls from gavialter and specteralter. i Have 146.200 orunduns (244 pulls)+ 61 HH. The first thing i did was making some friends with broken units on reddit, since then i got 1800 weekly with annihilation, i think this helped me a lot. Oh... and i also bought 2 monthly cards when i started to boost my plan of annihilation (12.000 orundun {200x30x2}). i think that's all...

Just have both .. we have more than enough time to garantee yatoX even if we go broke from texalter banner, just pull no one before yato unless you can while not going under 100 pulls saving.

8:29 HAHAHAHAHAGAGHAHAH. Tl;dr - bad advice, different damage types don't powercreep each other, this is Arknights not Honkai Impact 3rd. Long version - No, that's plain impossible just from the fact that they both have different DMG types. This is like saying Mylnar powercreeps Surtr. You can't take the powercreep button to ops of 2 different damage types, that just doesn't work. Yato X is not as effective against enemies that have high def and average res and enemies that are scattered round 8 blocks Texter is not as effective against enemies with high res and average def and enemies that are all funneling to a single lane. They don't powercreep each other because they fill different purposes in terms of damage. Yato S3 is a burst unit, while Texter S3 is a steady dps. One excels in wiping enemies it can wipe fast, one excels in constant output that can rack up as you deploy her more. There's also the fact that going forward, bosses and mobs are only going to get more complex. In terms of pulls, Yato X has a 120 pity, even without a monthly, start saving up after you get a Texas Alter and you'll be fine. At the end of the day, you'll only cry if you don't pull for her when she comes thinking another unit is going to powercreep her.
in terms of skill priority, which skill do i m3 first? cuz i think i have enough mats to e2 her but m6 is a bit tough on the first few days depending on what ive got on hand

just get both, even if you get broke (zero funds) after Lin+Chongus banner (limited banner AFTER TEXAS), you can still guarantee 100 pulls for Yato as a f2p (MH Collab event has free 20 pulls)
that banner has skadi and penance, plus the upcoming banners are meh so there's almost no reason for me not to pull. I'll be saving for yato alter after this anyways

If Texas Alter was a non-fast redeploy, i'd settle her for 1, but since she is a fast redeploy operator, i will try to at least pull for her Pot 1 since 1 DP can be massive in the same battle when using her multiple times.
You should probably not assume people have pot 5. At E2, her second talent at pot 1 is 8% ASPD and 25% damage reduction. And at 7:50, her trait doesn't reduce her deployment time by 2 seconds; thats from potential 4.
People have already called out the original clickbait of skipping her for Yato. It bears repeating as its just irresponsible. They have different roles, you could even use both and the collab pity means you only need 100 pulls max after free pulls, which you can get in time. And its also a bit weird you read off pot 5 stats, but also suggest skipping.
Kirin x Yato doing primarily physical attack against single targets (with additional as arts) while Texalter is AoE Arts +immediate redeployment upon a kill.
With how Arts works, Texas is better, but they ultimately fufill slightly different niches that make either viable.
The only actual reason to pull Yato Alter is cause the banner is extremely limited so she isn't coming back afterwards
not exactly, I'm cn server player so I can tell you both of them are very powerful. Many people even consider yato is way more strong than Texalter. you can check the video of highest risk CC12, and yato plays an important role in the team. Not only that, they all perform well in any game mode especially IS3. if you get both of them in one single game of IS3 then you win.

One question I have is how well do yato and Texas go together?
Just like having Surtr and NTR together in one team, sometimes is helpful to kill boss fast, sometimes only bring one of them is enough so u can put extra Vanguard or other ops in team
But most of time, i use surtr and ntr together to switch who kill boss and who kill Elite enemy, but sometimes u need bring other Role like Vanguard

just remember to absolutely save everything after texas alter event ended, because in a few months after that you'll gonna need every single orundum for yato alter from monster hunter collab, which is a true limited because you wont be able to get her anymore once the collab is over.

Imo, texas alter and yato alter are in the same situation pozy and schwarz was back then during the 3rd global anni, they dont power creep each other but they are similar in strengths. they do power creep phantom tho :(
Using Pozyomka and Schwarz as analogy is bad because Pozyomka is better in most situation. Schwarz starts to get better than Pozyomka when enemy has 2000+ defense which is unrealistic (because Arts damage exists). Unlike them, Yato and Texas complement each other, Yato for low-mid DEF enemy and Texas for low-mid RES enemy.
They are no where similar lmao

I came back to the game a couple of months ago and I'm considering sparking on Texas banner. Granted my 6* operator selection isn't amazing, but it is decent enough. Surtr, Ejya, Exus, Bagpipe, Mudrock to mention a few. Also planning to get the selector and would most likely end up with Penance on the way to spark and maybe an off-banner or two. The operator I really want would be Skadi alter, both for useful reasons and just having my favorite design.
So, would you say I'm wasting my resources here or is it a decent plan?

I mostly have 110 pulls without couting the OP at the moment and started saving after spalter's banner, I pulled if I remember 40 times to get pozy on gavialter's banner but that only brings me up to 150 pulls if didn't pull on the banner, so how the hell did you get 300 pulls?

@@-GachaAddict- I started saving since the beggining... i only pulled the begginer's banner and the free pulls from gavialter and specteralter. i Have 146.200 orunduns (244 pulls)+ 61 HH. The first thing i did was making some friends with broken units on reddit, since then i got 1800 weekly with annihilation, i think this helped me a lot. Oh... and i also bought 2 monthly cards when i started to boost my plan of annihilation (12.000 orundun {200x30x2}). i think that's all...

Just have both .. we have more than enough time to garantee yatoX even if we go broke from texalter banner, just pull no one before yato unless you can while not going under 100 pulls saving.

Tl;dr - bad advice, different damage types don't powercreep each other, this is Arknights not Honkai Impact 3rd.
Long version - No, that's plain impossible just from the fact that they both have different DMG types.
This is like saying Mylnar powercreeps Surtr.
You can't take the powercreep button to ops of 2 different damage types, that just doesn't work.
Yato X is not as effective against enemies that have high def and average res and enemies that are scattered round 8 blocks
Texter is not as effective against enemies with high res and average def and enemies that are all funneling to a single lane.
They don't powercreep each other because they fill different purposes in terms of damage.
Yato S3 is a burst unit, while Texter S3 is a steady dps. One excels in wiping enemies it can wipe fast, one excels in constant output that can rack up as you deploy her more.
There's also the fact that going forward, bosses and mobs are only going to get more complex.
In terms of pulls, Yato X has a 120 pity, even without a monthly, start saving up after you get a Texas Alter and you'll be fine.
At the end of the day, you'll only cry if you don't pull for her when she comes thinking another unit is going to powercreep her.
Why not choose both as I'm doing?

The only reason I pull for this banner is because of Penance also could possibly a broken defender as well.
