- Fire! It's everywhere out here. This week is not your usual recording. We are alone, without guests and honestly more than a little freaked out by these outrageous firestorms.
We wanted to try and get a quick episode in before we evacuate for the Woosley fire. We were able to have some laughs and just be super silly which was probably more for us than ever before.
These fires are freaky and deadly and we're just happy we had a moment to get our family together before taking off.

We lost our house to a fire 2 years ago, Jan 7th, kids lost everything from Christmas, now we have a house full of stuff, we donate a lot to help people, kids think to help others a lot, be careful guys

I’m so sorry and feel for you Jeans, the emotions dealing with a fire are so chaotic. I’m from AZ, we lost a family friend to the Yarnell Fire who happened to be one of 19 Hot Shots that lost their lives. Then we had the Goodwin fire in Prescott that I had to drive up 2 hours to get to my house and was given 30 minutes to grab what I could. I could see the flames from my deck. It is the most horrible experience that anyone can go thru. Luckily our house was saved do to the amazing hot shots. You should check out the movie Only the Brave, it will give you a glimpse of what hot shots and firefighters do for the public.

I know your pain Jeans, watched the Pole Canyon fire in Utah burn my childhood memories, canyon forests, and homes in my community to the ground. Mad respect to first responders keeping it high and tight. Sending positivity to the main mommies🙏

Im sorry to hear you guys may have to evacuate. I work morning shift at the UPS center that services Paradise (the pile of ash up north) and it's sad seeing a number of my coworkers without homes or anything. Best of luck to you mommies

The guy who dressed up as a Nazi and his kid as Hitler is from my hometown of Owensboro Kentucky! It was big news here we all support him.
I just wanted to comment on the whole Garth Brooks going to the DMV. I live in Oklahoma, and grew up in Owasso, the town where Garth lives. I went to high school with his daughters, and even played sports with one of them. Garth does many errands himself. For example, I worked at a grocery store as a teen, and I had to prepare some groceries for a pick-up delivery. After putting everything in the cart and wheeling it outside, a normal looking car pulled up and good ole boy Garth Brooks gets out. He gave me like a $10 tip (we weren’t supposed to accept tips), and was very pleasant. I’ve seen him around town, doing various errands, and he’s always been very pleasant. Another story was from when I played sports as a child. My older brother was coaching my basketball team, and as our game drew to a close, Garth walked into the gym. Apparently his daughter had a game right after ours. My brother FREAKED because this was in ~2003 or so, which is a peak of fame for Garth. He walked up and asked for an autograph, and Garth politely said he would sign anything after his daughter’s game.
This is one of the best episodes, its just so pure. Much love you guys.

where i live in Gasquet, California an arson started nine fires and ran from the cops yesterday, luckily they put them out asap. In past few years we've had bad fires in northern Cali, i feel ya. I hope you keep your home and lives.

If you keep your house at 72 in SoCal it is about the perfect temp year round. I really miss living down there. Sadly, I thought I'd be escaping the fires up north. It hasn't worked out that way.

The Hitler costume is just that, and if we bully him into not wearing it, soon, no historical figure will be allowed, as every minority group already compares European colonists and even the President to Hitler. So if they're the same as Hitler in their minds, then those figures will be banned too, as costumes.

Lived out here my whole life also in Hueneme and we are like right in the middle of this and last year's Thomas fire. The wind really is what makes things so bad, it's not only strong but hot, so it's like using a hair dryer to fan a flame which works amazingly. Hopefully the winds shift and push the smoke out to the ocean, that was one of the hardest parts of the Thomas fire was dealing with and smelling smoke for weeks.
Kudos to you, Mommies! The fact that there's a show at all... We'll keep the Moose Soup warm for ya's
