I started to pack my things, but this time, I include chocolates and snacks for my family. Enjoy my shopping because it would be a little bit different because all I shop are Japan goodies.
I had a lunch with my friends at the park, please enjoy it too.

When I arrived to usa 30 years ago I used to send care packages back home to my family ( I worked so hard to make hands meat many times skipped awarding myself ) till I find out my family had better life than I did so I stopped helping out like crazy …. Taking care of family is a wonderful things but knowing limits is the key! They all have hands to work and support themself too don’t forget - take care
Amen! I am happy seeing her buy herself breakfast and lunches now. It's nice to help the family but like you said they can work too. My friend was from Manila and she'd send three or four boxes every three months. Until she went home with boxes and found out they were selling most things. After that she only sent once a year. She was so sad when she found out what they were doing.
@ exactly ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ I remember one time I bought this big box of expensive chocolate in Costco skipping my own Xmas gifts … I was so happy to make a care package for my family then I called with Xmas greetings and they said “ oh the chocolate wasn’t that good” … I felt so awful … it took me a while to realize certain things ….. to be able help out a little is blessings but it’s not requirement we should not work and pay for others just “ help out” everyone can work then they just get greedy !

I love the way you and your friends organise the picnics! You obviously care greatly for each other and manage to have fun cheaply! I’ve said before you’ve done enough for family back home; it’s getting on for 10 years and if I remember correctly, you’ve put two siblings through college and the now have families - your turn now! My US based uncle sponsored his Filipina Wife’s FIVE sisters to go the US, only for her to claim they’d stolen everything - land, jewellery etc. on his death but that’s another story! I hope you start creating your own family asap on your return!

I am sure you are excited about seeing your family and friends back home. You are very wise in packing and sending your boxes well beforehand. Although seven months still seem a long way, it will come very soon. As it gets closer, you can enjoy your time with friends in Japan, because they are the closest family you've had there. I know some of them will also be returning home, but it just won't be the same as you all go about your separate ways.

I had a coworker whose dad had a small company selling fried plantain chips. He now has about 25 employees. His chips were in a bunch of supermarkets. If you or your boyfriend are good at cooking maybe doing something like that. The other option is export of plantains and other fruits. Food is a huge commodity anywhere.

Niece. She’s growing pretty. 4months now, always has cold. They go always to doctor because the baby’s immune system is weak. She had pneumonia, thanks God she’s ok now.🙏🏻 So young to always have antibiotic.
That was a massive shopping trip Che 🍒 I'm sure the staff had a busy time afterwards having to restock the shelves.
And the Balikbayan boxes were so full that you needed your butt as a third arm to help seal them.

I was wondering how you were going to get home with all your bags 😮but you did it! Is it very expensive in the PI to buy things in the store? I would be buying a lot of things before I go back so that I have a supply for a while. (Skin care, vitamins). I was sad when you were packing your blankets and stuffed animals and had to remind myself that you won’t be gone, just leaving Japan. That’s what brought me to your channel..I wanted to learn about Japan life because I want to travel there in the future. I'm glad to see that you're making a great earning thru YT. Way before, I was concerned about the time when you return to the Philippines, because after living a certain way in Japan, I felt it would be difficult to readjust back to life there, but as long as you're resourceful, you can have an easier time in the Philippines, at least we hope. I know we will continue to watch you when you return home. When you do, I will send a package to you and your family. Our family owns part of a major shipping hub in the US, so shipping is easy for us lol 😆

I don't know how much candy costs in PH, but between the cost of the boxes and the cost of shipping, wouldn't it be better just to buy the candy when you get home? I mean, it's just candy. It's not like you bought them things they can use. Spending almost $200 for sweets seems extreme. But I could be totally wrong here. Is candy not available to buy in PH? Is it some kind of super luxury? Please educate me. Thanks! :)
Hello Ate Ness. Thanks for asking. I want them to taste the chocolates I tasted, which are not available in Ph, or maybe there are some that can be bought online, but so expensive. For me, that is not too much because it will be divided into 6 families.☺️ In that way I can share my blessings to them. It's not just candies, and that's not a luxury.☺️
And hopefully, some can be shared to good neighbors.
