Great memories of Bendigo- we lived there from around 1955 to 1965. I remember as a kid going to the Easter parade and seeing the dragon, swimming at the pool in Barnard street in summer, and the little lake next door. Good times for a kid..cheers.
Nice work Jack. I remember going to movies at the Plaza with my assorted brothers in the 60's (mainly Elvis films) - more often than not someone would come home with a big blob of chewey on the back of their shirt - thrown by the pricks sitting in the top balcony/section !
Thanks Ben, that was one of the early pretty rough clips... matter of fact, they are all pretty amateurish but it keeps me out of the garden in retirement !!
My father worked at BCV8 from the beginning and retired from there in 2019.. the photo at ~1.42 with the group around the TV.. the guy on the left looks just like him.

great videos for the people who are intersted, was pretty cool seeing a photo of my grandparents and gough whitlam from 1969 pop up what a photo.
