Rob, I have watched many of your pods and only via the above comment have I found out that on Spotify you get an extended, full version! I guess this is because I consume RUclips on TV rather than on a PC, maybe a good idea to emphasise this in your opening monologues?
Didn’t know her much apart from inbetweeners. Thought she was just a social media kind of celebrity but this interview showed her well. Sweet, fun and smart. Nice interview Rob!
I'm just noticing that I'm listening more to Rob's questions than I'm listening to the answers....???? He's a very good interviewer..... and shows genuine interest...
Another good podcast Rob. I didn't know as much about Emily as some of your other guests, so it was lovely to learn more in the relaxed way you always do these interviews. Such a sweet young lady. Thanks Rob.
I’m very fortunate to have been to both her stand up shows. Insane to think I bought a ticket to “Talk Thirty To Me” while she was in the jungle and she hadn’t even written it at that point! Lovely to speak to as well. No different to how she comes across here.
Simon Antony Bird 19 August 1984 (age 37 in 2022) So? Did he celebrate his 30th on set while filming the Inbetweeners series? Inbetweeners originally aired on E4 from 2008 until 2010 - Bird turned 30 well after the series ended. And she was not in either of the films. 7:18 - The four main characters are in their mid-to-late teens, but when the first episode was broadcast in May 2008, the actors playing them varied in age the oldest being 24.
I cant belive she was bullied emily is very gorgeous 😮, but i was bullied aswell in school for being diffrent , i had the worse ance in my teen years im 20 now , so i understand how difficult time is when your being bullied 😢
I can perfectly well understand Emily taking a flat with her sister; variations of that happen a lot - at least in some cities; Bill Mauldin, the WWII cartoonist lived with his brother after their parents broke up ; And, while I didn't leave school at sixteen (that sounds very familiar, too ) - my father put me in my own apartment when I was sixteen and a half. Being bullied for being different I can understand all too well . . . if I ever get any of the books I'm writing published, you'll see variations of all that interwoven throughout. It takes a lot, and the right personality to just go and become an actor, or a musician, a dancer or a visual artists I think Emily is very brave . . .
I dunno who she is to be honest. But I watch these interviews anyway because I like Rob. Now I dont want to be mean, but I'm confused... "I was a tall blonde".. Er, are you sure? From what I can see you are neither?
Irritating. I have watched the Inbweteeners many, many times and always felt that she was quite weak as an actor. Her getting auditions, I guess had nothing to do with her rich and successful parents. Anyway, she seems to think she is an amazing actress. 'Talk Thirty To Me” was terrible.
Musicians often aren't paid loads even if they're famous. The super-famous obviously make obscene amounts of money, but that's not the norm even for national acts or sidemen for international acts. And of course people can still make lots of money and blow most of it. There are plenty of stories of actors, musicians, professional athletes, etc. running out of money. That's not to say that she's not exaggerating, but it's definitely believable for a famous person not to be rolling in piles of cash in the sitting room.
@@MrMongoose221 not particularly but I'm not on Rob Brydon's podcast am I or have tv shows thrown at me with multiple writers, canned laughter and catapulted to stardom for being mediocre at best. That's just my opinion, or am I not allowed to have one?

Interviews are always better with pictures.

Lovely interview! Was great to hear more about her life, its very interesting!
Rob makes a a really good interviewer, only interrupting to ask useful questions or clarify things.
I'm going to have to watch them all now...
Great interview, she is so lovely and bubbly. Can't wait to see the travel show.
Rob your podcasts are always 💯 fun

“I was tall and blonde.”. It says online that she’s 5’3”, she’s one of those people that exaggerates for attention.
Her Dad was in a group called Child, they were one hit wonders, had a hit with Conway Twittys song - It's Only Make Believe.
Loved every second !!!
Lovely interview. She seems very nice
Hi Rob
Was watching BIG EYES and was thinking "this is the Welsh actor from wilty" ... but it wasn't you 😉 I need glasses 🤣
Well done Emily! You deserve it
Great episode, Rob. I've not seen anything Emily has done, but sincerely feel like I've learned a lot from her re self-confidence.
A face to face interview - whatever next !
Omg, that sound amazing, Emily, ruby wax and mel b tracking in Colorado,il definitely watch that
Rob brydon will allways be inclined bryn for me
Respect to Emily!
Emily comes across as a strong and independent woman. Good on ya girl!
You make her sound like the fourth member of Destiny's Child.
Emily Atack. Great teeth. Enough said. 😂

Girls are nasty jealous creatures, it's usually jealousy motivated

Excellent
If Larry David sees this, he would be horrified at the lack of respect for the wood table. Get those glasses a coaster stat!
Her mum is also Paul McCartneys first cousin!
Her grandmother is his first cousin.
And she milks it for all its worth.
Where did all that hair come from rob?
Fun fact: Emily Atack's uncle was Tinky-Winky, and is a distant cousin of Paul McCartney
She's my new crush 😘
Wasn't her dad in Massive Atack?[literal dad joke]
Only found out recently who her mum is but once you know it's obvious
and her uncle
Who is it L
"I was approaching my 20s..."

Very telling, and British, that she thinks "girl next door" means "teasing slut".

"The Emily Atack show" is toe curlingly bad too. The epitome of it's not what you know it's who you know.
With her two famous parents she "had to put food on the table"? 😂

Not everybody ruins their kids, and while her parents were well known, they might not be as well off as you think..
She hardly touched her water, had it been a glass of wine she’d have downed it in a second.
She rides on her parents mild fame..
Middle aged haha
So vampent. And that talk about starting out and having to pay her own bills is ludicrous at best.
Lol keep deleting comments youtube... pathetic
Rob’s fake laughing and interest in this one is strong.
Probably because he knows she isn't funny or particularly talented... but you don't have to be these days as mediocrity is so celebrated
You two must be pretty talented yourselves.
