I love the work they've done, but the Myers feels like a bit of a curious overpay. When you do the math, they will be like 1M short of signing Zadorov, Silovs & Guentzel. I think it would have made sense to lock down those 3 first then tell Myers "This is what we have left take it or leave it" ?

Good to see the signing of Dakota Joshua, now if the team could sign the Russian D-man and a high scoring winger.

    Kommnent Korner:
Did Joshua take a discount to stay in Vancouver & if so, why?

He honestly must love his fit. And or maybe he wasn’t guaranteed 4 yrs somewhere else. Probably boils down to being as simple as that. And maybe they are saying like hey,, these are the guys we can bring in and the plan going forward if u take this deal. Either way, my plums are swollen with joy

Its a nice reflection that something good is cooking in Vancouver if players are taking discounts.
Value is everything in the cap era. We've been cursed by the Luongo cap penalty, Loui Eriksson and OEL buyout, let the ghost of cap management leave our franchise for good!
