The draft isn’t the issue with the playoffs lasting so long. You have amateur scouts working full time on this. It’s the resigning and free agents situation you aren’t sure of until the playoffs are done.

It must have been hard for Weegar and Gudas to watch the Panthers win, given they were the right kind of players to help Florida win tough games in the playoffs. The schedule compression between the Finals and entry draft/free agency is borderline insane. Moving the end of the season of a winter summer sport two weeks deeper into summer, without changing the date of the entry draft and free agency is bad. They need to start the season earlier and have less exhibition games. The current Canucks management aren't the leaky ship of the last regime, so I don't think the media know when the other shoe is going to drop with regards to signings and trades.

@@TheRealAT Apparently he was better suited for that role than the likes of Ekblad and Montour. Question is which of them is it saying more about

@@user-by3nd4rm6c was he? The results didn’t change. If the series were to go longer he would’ve been moved off as well because the results weren’t changing.

@@TheRealAT He did, He got one PP A in Game 4 that ended in a 4 - 1 W in a series that went 7. The Panthers played him pp1 all series long so nothing was going to change and it didnt need to anyways, they won.

Donnie and Dhali commenting about the pizza oven lol! @Rick - These are made for consumer home use and basically mimic the wood burning stoves you see at pizzerias.

Henderson doesn't seem like a Tocchet kinda guy, maybe we can trade him to NBC sports, if he's still an rfa 😂

The draft means very little the players wont be anything for at least 2-3 years

In 2-3 years and beyond it means very much. The tradeability of those players is also incredibly valuable based on positive development. Look at the dman the Canucks traded for lindholm.

Mr. Button is not a serious hockey analyst after witnessing his antics during the playoffs. He isn't that much better than Gazdic lol. Why is he forced upon Canucks fans? He hates the Canucks
