tuckers mum died, wat they gonna do wheel out her skeleton? then use a stage actor to do her voice while someone gestures w her hands, working her like a ventriloquist dummy? #imjoking ;)
@Mark Richardson They should hav more shows like this but it takes more to film i guess w them all over town in diff locations compared to a sit com in 1 room ?
Any ford key would open any ford.i believe the copper is laughing because Barry is a criminal .the police did the same to me back then.they had a point. I still believe those days were better in some ways.you can't move these days without a camera looking at you with a fine in the post.
Think in series 3 they tried to make it like a poor man's EastEnders style soap. Considering the longer gap between the 2nd and 3rd series, plus the way 2 ended, with everyone moving on to new starts, I think Redmond probably only planned to make 2 series. 3 comes across like it was put together as a bit of an afterthought. Still interesting to watch though, as never saw the 3rd at the time
@@andeeharry It was only ever shown before the watershed. Its latest start time was 18:45 and that was only one episode in 1984. (checked with BBC Genome). The “watershed” is 9pm.
'A Red Cavalier' .. Think about that, Think how many potential Red Cavaliers might or might not have been in the area at the time? Whoever wrote that part of the script was having a laugh.
***** Personally, I thought the coppers were portrayed as normal working people. And you have to admit, after all that drama, Barry's car getting nicked *was* funny.
3.55: Yes, someone goes missing and then suddenly they have a problem with someone acting suspicously for a while..typical police not doing something before hand.
i`m not sure how their suppossed to think her in the dark, what with a copper in the house, why doesn`t tucker start his future career early, and with all these police around perhaps this is why he later on thought about joining up, apart from the fact i dont like the look that policewoman gave barry, are we suppossed to think some perverts now got rhona, doesn`t natalias mum like her daughter going with a bit of rough, i think i liked it better when tucker was going out with someone working class like him, i think natalia may be a bit stuck up for him, and tuckers mum only seems to be in this series to keep on crying in every episode, so even in them days you had to watch out for so called funny men, in those days it was probably someone working for the bbc, and compared to earlier series i do think whats going on in this episode is a bit heavy going, and in them days did the police really think that every bloke that they met was a nonce, and i possibly think that the police in this episode are doing a impression of the keystone cops, why does barry seem to know a lot about the police and they seem to know him, should i be worried, so your telling me that they found rhona in the last place that they visited, for anyone else it would be one of the first places your probably look, and whats with the policeman during the end, is he suppossed to laugh when someones telling him about a crime, although who would want to steal barrys deathtrap on wheels is beyond me.
A blast from the past... they should update and bring this series back - where they are now...
Gggf

Get a grip ffs
Ahhhh the eighties... discussing the most Cordon Bleu way to serve Nescafe...
Good old Am CB radio.those were the days.
Loving the video quality....Probably like one of Barry's knock offs!
The Polceman at 17.00 was in the Piglet Files loved that show
A missing girl is one thing, but a Ford Capri with shit decals is another.
A I guess it was a common occurrence during the 1980s. Legend has it that Fords of that era could get broken into using a teaspoon.

for some reason they changed it to 6pm before the watershed, so everything got changed.

Rhona.....the future mother to Tigger and Togger....can see where they get thier antics from
Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo , Rona’s gone missing.
18:40 tune of 'Yesterday' by the Beatles on the radio :D :D :D
The woman doing the interview played Julia Glvers mum in Grange Hill
"Barry shouted at me..." BaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrY?!!!!
The ambient music at 4:40 sounds like an intro to a black metal album.
or from a Burial track

Not as much of a laugh as the copper at the end

Nicked Barry's car in front of the police presence....that was bold
You talk like they are real people in a real situation.. Why? Nothing is Bold or anything else.. It is what is in the script.
The trucker in this episode, dandelion, is David Walliams Dad.....
Intercounty Sales Dunno where you got that idea. I don't have any kids LOL
So many TV coppers were portrayed as bastards!

@Mark Richardson You're asking me about a comment I made 4 years ago.
@Mark Richardson Nope, I died in the spring of 2017. Crushed to death by a falling Ocelot in a SUV.

It's not real.
Should have been called Tucker's got no luck

Anything you seek, is always in the last place you look.
Odd storyline for this show. Tucker's luck was never too serious only the odd punch up or bike going into the canal.
