    That was a lot of dirt on the whole chain and sprockets assembly so It sure makes a big difference to keep it clean and lubed, also finding that loose nut holding the front sprocket could have caused a major repair eventually! I loved the way you made the whole chain adjusting look so smooth ! I like the final look ! 🇵🇷

    Thank you for sharing this video with important information 👍. A month ago I bought my Tracer MT09 but I hear a slight rattling behind the sprocket cover. Following your tip I will check if the nut behind the sprocket cover is tight enough.

      Oh man please do. I hope is just the chain needing some adjustment.
      Thanks for your comment!
      Have an amazing day brother!

    Do you have a video on how are you liked the results of after changing the front sprocket to a 15 tooth??

    • @ToModorNottoMod
      @ToModorNottoMod  Год назад +1

      Not specifically. I think it feels right, but even though changes in the front are equivalent to 3 in the rear I was expecting a much more drastic change.
      It does not help the fact that I am running -2+3 on my GSX. 😂.
      The acceleration is faster, To me it felt like the right change for the type of riding I do. I rode my bike around 40 mikes on highways speeds 80-90 mph and the bike feels perfect, not strangled like my GSX and also feels super responsive on dirt.
      If you are thinking about it, you will not regret it.

    Great video but I no longer have the mt09. I have a gsxs and have followed or done all of your mods and maintenance (coolant flush coming soon). Please install/replace the brake lines of the gsxs1000 to steel braided brakelines so I can do it as well lol...

    I just ordered a -1/+1 sprocket and chain combo for my 2017 09. Thank you for the vid and I'm sure I'll be rewatching as I do mine sometime next week :D

    I just changed mine to 15T I've noticed the chain has tight and slack points now, is it possible to put the new sprocket within the wrong links of the chain if you know what I mean

    • @ToModorNottoMod
      @ToModorNottoMod  2 года назад

      Hey Greg, not really the as long as the sprockets and the chain are the same pitch, meaning both are 520 or 525 or 530 it should fall in place with no special process.
      How old is the chain? Has the chain being maintaned well? Maybe has developed kinks because it's streched and you may be needing a new one?

    Pull back the rubber shift linkage boot and remove the allen headed end link… no realignment, no prying.

      That's crazy. I have never had one come off that I have taken off or from a bike I had purchased, but I'm glad I was able to spotted it. So glad you were able to take care of that and have the peace of mind that it's good now.

      Bike has 16k miles on it i was very surprised to find the nut so loose that it spun only with the weight of the breaker bar
