I use a husky, it's great that you have everything near you but like everyone the stress on back and neck. I am currently looking for a belt just hold my drill around waist and put lighter stuff in apron...maybe that set up will work
I use a $20.00 husky brand from Home Depot for quite a few years and have been looking at getting one of these Atlas 46 vests. I mostly work at a desk but a couple times a year I need to throw down when a project gets behind and that’s what I wear the apron. I’m just not sure if I can quite justify the cost.
Nice video I was really liking the cell phones pocket I hate when I have to clean that saw dust off of it also the straps being made for smaller guys also helped to know thanks
Yeah, I would say that that was a really decent review Thanks for Sharing and I'm glad I finally found it. I'm working on a custom tool vest for myself as well so this was very helpful really.
Love my atlas 46 apron vest. I too would love a holster for my Festool CXS, I use the clip and hope for the best. The lanyard may be the answer to that though. I mainly wear the vest for cabinet installs, trim, and crown, and it is perfect for all those applications. I wish I might have taken the option for the cargo pockets versus my open ones, but I can live with it. Great review!
Thanks for the video. I got this rig and immediately hated it. It's impossible to bend or kneel in it because it's so stiff and binds up into your thighs. It also holds very few tools, no great place for a speed square, and anything clipped onto the AIMS webbing blocks the cargo pockets. Definitely not a framing rig IMO, but it seems to work well for most.
@@davidtanner8002Thanks! I ordered mine 2 weeks ago with a lot of add on’s and I’m super excited. Sadly, the excitement made those 2 weeks feel like a month so this will be a long wait but I already know it will be more than worth it
@@TannerConstruction I ordered my rig and 9 accessories on 10/13 and 10/29. On 12/22 I got the shipping info for the rig and 2 accessories. I’m sure the rest will follow soon
@@ShadyAcacia Man... I just ordered a couple more rigs last week.. Guess it's going to be a while. Good news is that I got an email from Atlas 46 a couple of weeks ago that says they have ramped up production and are building a second manufacturing facility... I'm sure they'll catch up soon.
I've owned one for 4 years. The lifetime warranty is great, but no my neck is all messed up. The weight on vest really puts a lot of stress on your neck and shoulders. Great design but damn my body has taken a beating from it in the long run
That’s interesting Chris. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for neck pain. Out of curiosity, what do you have in your vest? I’m guessing ours only weigh 10-15 lbs when in use and the waist carries a good portion of that load.
@@TannerConstruction I'm an electrician, so pretty much all your basic hand tools and my impact drill. But since I'm constantly working on Emt, and looking overhead, it tends to put stress on my neck. It worked great when I was working residential. I've switch over to the tool belt that atlas 46 carries. I'll post videos on my channel later this week

I can’t tell you how many times I had to pick sawdust from my phones charging port with a paper clip before I had this vest.

Damn man that steel fireplace looks legit!

Thanks Matthew! That’s the same way we hang our drivers.. lanyard has saved the day many times 🤣

Where’s the Atlas46 website? And you cannot expect the holster to accommodate every style of cordless drivers. Smh...
Good review first person to hear about how saggy it is. I bought one awhile ago and I find that it is very saggy. I'm still looking for a fix for it.
Did you manage to fix it ? I’m looking to get it but worried it will sag too much cheers
Great review. Thanks. Would love to hear the feedback on the Saratoga.
Great video - thanks for posting! :D
Thanks Rob!
Room for speed square. Would it make a good seasonal framing set up?
Great video!
Where would you hold a speed square?
What size was this because were the same size and id like my to fit just right?
Is there a spot for a speed square?

I want to buy it but it looks too low. I’ve seen from other reviews that it’s too low and you can’t get it closer to your upper chest
How long was the lead time?
Almost 2 months! But worth the wait for sure.

Great review that price can kiss my arse

Would you gentlemen be interested in trying out a shop pocket tool vest for free, $200 value
Sure would. If you email us we can discuss details.
Please give me your email, and info
I just don't want all my tools in front of me. I prefer my diamondback and side holster
Atlas 46 has many different setups available
hmmm im 5.7 140 .. I guess I will look elsewhere ...
Seems kinda low
I have been waiting six months on an order from this company. Not happy. Buyer beware.
Yeah I was wanting to get the Saratoga and e mailed them and it took 3 days for them to tell me it would be 10 to 12 weeks to get it if I ordered.
The very reason Ive not dropped $600+ for a rig
Tacticool cringe company
NOT a chest rig👎🏼👎🏼
2 to 6 month lead time to get them is ridiculous and completely unprofessional and unrealistic.
I still think their products are worth it.
