Teen Company 2020: Romeo and Juliet Masquerade Dance

In this passionate and lyrical piece, set among the gears of a giant clock, the greatest of Shakespearean lovers race against time itself to outrun their fate. The Synetic Teen Company will present Synetic’s landmark and “enthralling” (The Washington Post) production of Romeo and Juliet! One of the first in Synetic’s “wordless Shakespeare” series, the original 2011 production received 6 Helen Hayes Award Nominations and 2 wins, for Outstanding Resident Play and Ensemble. This production does not have dialogue.

2:14 - 2:27 ( Juliet is taken away and Romeo tries to get to her, but Tybalt interrupts as he demands a duel )
2:28 - 3:14 ( sword fight between Tybalt & Romeo, ends with Romeo stabbing Tybalt )
3:15 - 3:49 ( Juliet finds him and tells him to run and hide, Juliet is constantly being distanced and taken from Romeo, ends with Romeo getting the poison )
